One out of eight (about 12.5%) visits I actually am able to eat from this place. They have great chicken and dumplings, I mean great, but when they have them. They are costly, that’s for sure. But worth it. I don’t know if they sell out or just decide not to make them, but if it’s on the menu then I feel that you’re giving me a choice and the availability should be there.
5/13 of 2022I walked into Alvin DQ and waited in line for. 15 minutesI notes the staff wuz low and there wuz one worker running back and forth between 3 station'sHe took my order all i did wuz order a small dip cone and PB cup blizzard . He made it within 5 minets even knowing he wuz working hard and busy taking drive Orders. I told him that where's your help your busting your but off . He wuz a nice boy
1 star because I can’t do 0 stars… Iv never left a review In my life, but this was so bad I felt like I needed to. this place lets us down time after time… this is going to be the last time. Waited in line for 30 min… only to get served what seemed to be leftovers. Cold fries that looked like they were made yesterday and soaked in oil, steak fibers and chicken strips were made hours ago. Not sure what the wait was, they obviously were not making food. This place has always had terrible management, and kids running the store when they are out.Drive the extra 10 min for sure to get a better DQ off Broadway. This place is on its way out I believe. Absolutely horrible.
We went to Dairy Queen for the 75 cent ice cream cone but their drive thru was super packed!! About 10 cars deep. I decided to go inside instead. I received my cones quick and was one happy camper!! This Dairy Queen has been renovated and the place is very clean and bright. Plenty of parking and well lit.
They need help. I'm so ashamed of people not wanting to work. This poor girl was taking orders, fixing the food and delivering to the drive thru customers. I don't know what was happening inside.
Not as clean as I would like. Inside trash overflowing with no room for used trays. Food okay but I have had much better. Disappointed ☹️.
Tonight I bought a sea salt toffee chocolate blizzard. When I got it, it was melted. When the lady at the window asked me if I would like it re made I said yes. Well what I didn’t know until I got home was there was no ingredients in the blizzard. It’s very disappointing to know you have spent the money to get something you want and this is the kind of service you get. So Dairy Queen owner/manager you might want to step up to the plate and need to do more training on how to make a blizzard.
Made an order the other day (3/26), got home and they did not put bacon or cheese on the burger. called up there and talk to the manager I believe her name was Sabrina, she told me to come back in a couple of days (because I said I was hungry and I was going to eat it instead of taking the time to drive all the way back up there), I just left there today (4/1), and they wanted to charge me everything except for the things that they forgot last time. I wasn't told to come up there and pay for everything again minus the bacon and cheese, I was told to come up there and it would be on Dairy Queen. I don't know why I go back there, half the time my orders are wrong. Consider this the last time I ever go to Dairy Queen in Alvin, which sucks because I like them the best out of all the fast food hamburger joints.
Placing my order was great. Friendly service at the front counter. Kitchen must not care about the food ordered. Paid for extra meat patty but didn't get it. Burger was cold and one patty on it appears to have been cooked yesterday.Won't go back anytime soon
