They have ended pizza. The wood fired oven is useless. We loved the pizza! Sadness The pasta is still great. The service is still very mixed depending on when you dine and who the server is. But without pizza...we will never be back.
We had a late dinner (nearly 9:00) on a Friday night; the dining room was full and the staff appeared worn-out from a busy night. While we were immediately seated it took some time before our server arrived and offered us menus. The menu offers all the basics plus some nice specialties; good wine selection. Service was very slow; our server spent a good amount of time chatting with the bartender in the corner. We clearly caught them at a bad time; will visit again with the hope of a better experience. NOTE: this is a small venue; it gets VERY LOUD when fully occupied.
Food was delicious! Service was slow and we were literally the only patrons in the restaurant. Would still return though cause honestly the food was very good.
Visiting Allen Tx for a few days and found this quaint Italian place and must say it was an excellent choice. Small nice atmosphere with excellent Five Star food and service. Will return again.
This place made me feel like mom's home cooking. Wow... Love the vibe and food was just on point. Highly recommend the pasta with voodoo sauce. Can't forget the bread with oil... Will be back... Oh yeah the staff was super professional and friendly.
Excellent pizza, the best around!
Ventured out in early March for my son’s birthday and we were not disappointed. They don’t take reservations, so we went early. Seating can be tight. Interior decor is quite nice and they had a live guitar player as well. Nice touch. Obviously, the main event was the food. Multiple options for fresh, creative pasta options as well as protein choices and of course pizza. Opted for the veal chop special, which was outstanding. Service was good. Prices were fairly reasonable but the food was excellent! Would definitely return. Overall grade, solid A.
Another reviewer had the same complaint - the place is too LOUD when the dining room is full. I was there on a Thursday night at 7pm. At 7:30 through closing, the place was packed full. I was with a date, and the noise level was so loud that we couldn't even have a conversation. The "date" experience was ruined due to the noise. Some sort of sound absorption material is needed on the ceiling and walls to mitigate noise. On the plus side, the food was good. Also the suggested gratuity printed on the bill was based on the total, including tax! Really? I'm going to tip a percentage based on tax rates?! Wow, I didn't know it was customary to tip the county and state - on top of the tax! Overall the service and food was very good. But due to the noise, I gave the "value" score only 3 stars (and could have gone lower).
By far the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Takes me back to my home in NY with each bite. Thanks to the great staff as well. Will return!
