The guy at the register was very friendly with helping to ensure that I got something that I would enjoy. The establishment seems nice and clean; however, there was a dissatisfied customer who returned after already drinking part of his smoothie. Instead of completely remaking the smoothie, the staff member used the pre-existing smoothie that was already partially consumed, and had left the building, and re-blended it rather than tossing it and remaking it. I understand that it would have taken more time to remake it versus re-blending it, however, I don’t think the decision to re-blend was the most sanitary practice and it kind of grossed me out.
Every time I order of their app it takes me at least 15 mins to get there and after I arrive they looking crazy and talking amongst them. Then have the audacity to see Oh ur order jus t came up. Horrible service
Tropical Smoothie Cafe has been a great partner with my business, and it’s quickly become the reward lunch location that our staff values most. The food is great and the people are easy to deal with. When we order in for 30 folks the orders are always right and the smoothies are packed in a big box of ice to make sure they are cold and awesome. Cannot say enough about this location in Allen.
I just moved to Allen and have found a few places I go to over and over. Tropical Smoothie Cafe is one of these destinations. The teriyaki wrap is fantastic. Service is quick. Can’t beat it for the price or quality.
This is our family’s favorite place to go. We order at least twice a week. Great food, fresh, and its a good price. Absolutely love Tropical Smoothie Cafe staff too.
I loved the smoothie I got and the ones the management recommended were very good! Staff was very nice and helpful. We traveled 8 hours to come here and it was worth the trip!! Will be going back!!
Love Tropical Smoothie! This is my absolute go-to place whenever I need to grab a quick AND healthy lunch (or dinner), plus always need to get a smoothie too. Their convenient location also makes this a great place to have a casual meeting with a friend of business partner. Great and friendly service every time! If you want me recommendation on food.... I go often that I always try to get something new but end up with one of my favorites (depending on how hungry I am)... hummus veggie wrap, beach club salad, or chicken caprese sandwich... and for smoothie.... Detox Island Green - this is a light option and you can add a shot of energy or other supplements.
Our first time eating at a Tropical Smoothie and was pleasantly surprised at how much my 4yo son enjoyed (and me too). Ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla and a jetty junior for son and he ate and drank all, which is rare. I had the lean machine with Splenda and the Thai chicken salad with Buffalo dressing. Both were really good and would order again.
My colleagues and I were sick after eating at this so called “ fresh” restaurant!We ordered Baja chicken wraps, Cajun shrimp wraps and the bacon ranch sandwich.The chicken tasted like it was one from a can or the frozen Tyson strips. The beans were definitely from a can, the cheese was sliced cheese warmed up and the lettuce was old it was red and brown. Like I said we ALL got sick after a bite or two. Sick as in vomiting. Jamba Juice has WAY better smoothies if you want a fresh smoothie.If you want recommendations on wraps go to Royal Halal on Springcreek and Custer rd in Plano. Now, that is fresh food!!! And REAL chicken breasts.If I had my choice this restaurant chain would get 0 stars from me but, Google and Yelp won’t let me.The only good thing that came out of this was getting my $57 refund!
This is the best Topical Smoothie Cafe in the DFW area! In addition to providing delicious drinks and food, the owners focus on top-notch customer service and giving back to support the local community.
