Had to try Torchy’s while in Texas. Jason the manager was super helpful and was very welcoming. We enjoyed the food and the sweet tea was on point. Service was fast and convenientI’ll be back again.
Giving one star only for the bad service I got from This place. I had been frequently to all Torchy’s branch but this is first time I visited this branch and it was not at all pleasant one for me so planning to review it. I like Torchy’s in general and will plan to go again to other branch and not this one.I somehow didn’t know how to scan the reward or we code and the person on the counter taking award unpolitely replied that she doesn’t work on the app side and can’t help at all. She didn’t even bother to take a look or ask someone or provide help. I was trying to start getting rewards. I want to call out that I am a young guy who faced this issue just trying ti take help on to locate and scan the Torchy’s member qr code. With my experience I doubt it will ever be helpful for people who are much older. Also I am an IT guy who faced this issue. I like the food but this bad experience made me think why I am eating over here. So I will never go to this branch thinking how other older customers will get the service !! Also I spent over 30 to have this bad experience. What a waste of time spending with family. So also attaching and providing as much details as possible
We love Torchy’s! Great variety of tacos with handpicked sauces to really highlight the amazing flavors. My go to order is the Baja shrimp taco (pictured) along with the green Chile pork taco. Guac and chips is a must (my son LOVES it). Sometimes we get an order of queso as well. Everything is delicious and quality is always consistent. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. We absolutely love sitting on the patio, but you can dine inside as well. Definitely a gem in Allen, TX!
I love this restaurant!!! Me and 2 other friends have been coming here consistently at least twice a week for the past 6 months and we love this place. The workers there are friendly and seem like they enjoy working there and we’ve also come to know some of them by name (you’re amazing Kylie). I get the wrangler almost every time but my friends love the trailer park trash and green chilie pork quite a bit. The tacos of the month are fun and creative and you can come here for any meal of the day. The atmosphere is very chill and the music combined with the decoration still feels like the food truck that this chain started from in Austin. Overall amazing restaurant and I see myself coming back for years to come.
I got the Crossroads tacos and the brisket was so badly burnt & dry i threw them in the trash. $16 for 3 tacos is astronomical for this quality. I do not recommend
I gave them only four out of five because they got rid of my cactus soda. It’s great chip and Queso dip. Tacos are above average. Please bring back my pink soda!
I love all Torchy’s but this one is the only one that only gives you one chicken strip on the trailer park taco. Every other Torchy’s gives you 2 chicken strips in that taco. However my girlfriend gets a different taco and actually likes it at this location more.
This location gets the sauces wrong nearly every visit. Dont even bother ordering the tipsy chick- the menu is set up incorrectly and they seem to always leave it off or add the wrong one. Tipping makes absolutely no difference. Their $6 tacos arent great without their sauces.
First time here! Salon next door suggested we go there. Helpful young man at the counter. Typical sized taco but stuffed with goodies! Mexican rice, Baja shrimp and fried avocado was ? AWESOME!
My wife is from Korea and not into Mexican food, she said the tacos here were delicious. The couple we tried were fresh interesting and delicious. Price is not too bad and customer service was great. This is not a taqueria or traditional taco type place. Its a innovative Americana take on tacos... Something Guy Fieri would dig. I mostly eat at Mexican gas station tacos like El Volcan down 75, and I like both types. Creative American tacos and traditional Mexican tacos. Both hold their own place for what mood you are in. FYI El Rumbero on Bethany sells best burritos in DFW area.Cheers-Andy.
