PEi Wei in Allen on Mc Dermott - our visit this week was very concerning. The food was decent. The staff was great. However the condiment area for drinks, napkins, etc was not clean, which brings cause for concern for the kitchen. There’s not a great excuse for uncleanliness.
Food was good. Less salt in noodles but adding sauce made it yummy. Cashier was really helpful too. Clean place, fresh food and super fast service.
This place is small cozy I can say that they have an excellent customer service, the food is always very delicious ,they bring your food to your table.
This is one of the best PEI WEI location in DFW area! The venue is always clean, food is fresh, fast and well made. We enjoy dining at this location. Looks like the management knows how to run this place right! Please keep up with good work!
I ordered the orange chicken, it didn't taste like orange chicken. Then to make matters worst the fried rice was filled with sauce! so much that you wouldn't be able to enjoy it
I’m not sure what they cook in, but my meal made me instantly ill and I remained ill into the next day. I love Pei Wei and have never had this reaction, so it may be the cooks in just this location.
I used to like Pei Wei. In fact I gave it 5 stars about 5 years ago. Unfortunately things have changed. My favorite go-to was Chicken Pad Thai and steamed dumplings. The dumplings are still good, but the Pad Thai portion is much smaller and the taste is different - not in a good way. Also, the chicken doesn't taste good anymore. It is gristly and just not appetizing. Also, they close too early on weekdays (8pm) for me. Service is good and staff is always friendly, just wish the food quality could be what it used to be.
*** 12/15/21 ***Still selling fatty chicken & very small portions. Honey chicken was like garlic/spicy chicken. Keep low expectations, you won't feel the dip when they get lowered.*** 5/17/21 ***Why don't they just close this location so a decent restaurant can take it's place?Go to the Preston location instead.
We loved PEI WEI. However, recently their portion become smaller. Perhaps food cost went higher. We noticed other PEI WEI restaurants also reduced the portion of entrees. Curry chicken was undercooked. But we didn't complain since it never happened before. Service is always good in here.
Tried their new Drunken Noodles and it was fantastic! Fresh ingredients, freshly made and delicious! Also, very friendly staff and management.
