While the outside looks kind of fancy, the inside is a bit modest and relaxed. This is not a bad thing, just not what we expected from seeing the outside of the restaurant. The food is good and service was fine. It wasn't terrible but not sure I would say it would be in our family's rotation of places to eat out. My only reason in saying this would be that I didn't feel like the food quite fit the prices.

1st time here and will definitely be back.Very large portions; can be shared by two.Ordered 3 desserts to go: sopapillas; tres leches cake & flan.All excellent & generous. The salsa was fantastic and heat hot! Ordered chicken and cheese enchiladas and a taco. All very good and the ground beef taco has to be my all-time favorite taco! Love it here.
We come here every Friday night after a long week for the great food and beer-Ritas. Always great service and great food. Love it here. It’s a Friendly, kind, family environment. The manager of the restaurant is a man of his word… if you aren’t satisfied, he’ll take care of it because he cares. Dissatisfaction is rare here, but just like everyone, they are human. This place is one of our top 3 spots, hence why we come every Friday. Definitely recommend.
We've seen this spot for a few years and finally made a stop to enjoy some drinks and dinner. This location is smaller than expected but definitely had plenty of seats available. Waitress wasn't friendly and a bit on the rude side. We ordered happy our drinks and seemed to be mostly ice and juice, typical happy our scam. Our food actually came out really fast which was nice and had a great presentation. Enchiladas and street tacos had a good authentic taste, however there was an infestation of fruit flys that ruined our appetite. We counted 10 fruit flys that kept landing on our margaritas and food. We mentioned it to the waitstaff and they just said "OK" as if it's normal. Really disappointed with our first visit and only hope they can get this corrected.
Geneen and I were hungry after watching the New Batman movie (excellent) and decided to try out Papa Lopez. We ordered the The Sampler appetizer. It was perfect after eating a bucket of buttery popcorn at the movies. The stuffed jalapeño was really good, the flautist were better than most loaded with lots of chicken instead of crust, some beef nachos, queso in a big dip chip, and that hit the spot for us. The music was great but the spot lights above are a little blinding. Otherwise great dish, Ricardo served us and was extremely friendly and was on top of his game! We recommend Papa Lopez to our friends and anyone who likes Tex-mex food. The Couch Couple coming to a YouTube series to you soon!
At the end of December 2021, went to this place to celebrate my 7 year old's birthday. The atmosphere was great. There were staff obviously being trained, however, that did not slow down the service. They brought out a cake, the owner came singing and dancing which made my child's face light up. The food was really good as well. Awesome place.
Came here last night. Walked in and was greeted immediately. Sat a few minutes later. Service was awesome. Ordered margaritas and beers and then about 5 minutes later ordered our entrees. Food came out within 8 minutes and the place was packed. Food was delicious. Service was spot on. The owner or manager was walking around checking on everyone and you can tell he truly cared. Overall it was a great time at this place. Definitely recommend.
Had a great meal and experience. Nachos were a hit had an amazing Margarita! Got a chance to visit with the GM Cooper. Great guy. Will definitely be back soon!
Cooper is AMAZING!!! This place was so fun and so friendly staff! Honestly the coolest night for some family fun. The atmosphere is everything. I highly recommend Erin as your server. She’s so sweet and super attentive. My new spot
