The salmon was amazing. It was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. I would get that again for sure. The hush puppies were home made.
Long overdue date night and a randomly chosen seafood restaurant, what can go wrong. The food was great and service was outstanding. This is a cozy place in an upscale residential/shopping center. I think we got lucky with parking but there are parking garages just a short distance away. The wife got a parmesan crusted salmon and I had the shrimp & scallops. We both shared and agree that both dishes were excellent. We also had the fried calamari appetizer to start and it came with a mildly spicy sauce for dipping that was by far a hit with us both.Needless to say we both cleaned our plates. We will certainly be back in the future.
A prospective vendor invited me to lunch at Fish City Grill in Allen, just a short way down from the Marriott Allen where I was staying. This is a nice area ... shops and restaurants galore!I started with a Hendricks gin & tonic ... alas, a wedge of lime instead of the proper slice of cucumber. Hendricks is infused with cucumber and rose petals so a lime can overpower the delicate nature of this gin.I had the salmon BBQ tacos; three tacos with a bowl of beans and rice. It was the perfect size for lunch and the tacos were delicious. I just wished they came with two tortillas instead of one as the generous filling overwhelmed the tortilla.FCG is a cool restaurant with a good vibe. I enjoyed my time there and would return if I'm in the area again.
Friendly folks. Serious seafood. Food is delicious and staff is very friendly. Kevin was an amazing server, the dude is like a ninja you don’t even notice when he refills your cups it’s like you never run out. Lots of flavor in the food and definitely leaves you with a satisfied stomach, we had the calamari and it was gone in less than five minutes. The restaurant is very clean and spacious as well, definitely coming back here!
Relatively small chain seafood restaurant at the South side of Waters Creek. Parking in the area can be limited at times. Wait staff is friendly and helpful. They have a small but adequate selection of cocktails, wines, and beers. Their menu selection is likewise relatively small. Food was good but definitely not exceptional. An example is the asparagus was not trimmed, so the Woody inedible bottom two inches was served with the meal. The stuffed flounder was 90 percent stuffing with maybe an ounce of fish (flounder, maybe, maybe not). Portions were small for the price. Drinks were likewise over priced. Overall not bad, just not noteworthy.Second try. Two years later:Parking can be a real challenge depending on when you go. The wife and I were both disappointed with our meals. For the price point I expected more, a lot more. Both of our entrees were very bland and forgettable. The best part of my meal was the mashed potatoes. The stuffed flounder might as well been corn meal mush. The flavors are comparable. Highly disappointed and cannot recommend.Changed to two stars
Second time here. Food is good as expected. strawberry mojito missed the mark. Was told "out of mint" as a result presented a B- drink. Minus one star for that. Will go back for food for sure.
First time diner! Not the last. Meal delivered and shrimp cocktail was fresh, cool with tasty sauce. Grilled salmon was grilled perfectly on a bed of white rice. Sauce for salmon needs some flavor but salmon stood on its own! Asparagus was cooked perfectly. Looking forward to dining with them again. Thank you
Solo diner here. I am glad they welcomed me. Spinach was amazing. I was little sad that key lime was not available as I really wanted to eat that. But their combo options are amazing and food was really fresh.
Our first time here and everything from our appetizers, dinner and drinks were great! The seafood was delicious and our waitress was very attentive. We will add this in our dinner rotation for dining out.
Always great food and atmosphere!
