Came here for oysters and mud bugsShowed up with no call ahead and 20 of my closest friends in tow. They accommodated us immediately. Spent 3 hours and left completely satiated and happy.Will definitely be back.
Restaurant looks like it was very popular as it was very busy. Drinks and food were very good. Only complaint would be their chargrilled oysters had many shell fragments in them. Other than that the place was good and we would go back.
When you're looking for a delicious eye-popping Shrimp Po'Boy. Look no where else in the area. They do not skimp on the shrimp! I've been to all kinds places in the DFW and they are one of the few that deliver.I've paid for $20 Shrimp benedicts and only got 2 shrimp, or a taco place that served "shrimp tacos" and might as well have called it a lettuce taco w/ hidden bonus shrimp. You don't have to worry about at Dodies.Super filling and the shrimp falls right out like a good ol' Po'Boy supposed to. Will be here again!
We randomly stopped by while shopping next door in the middle of a weekday, and were pleasantly surprised by the food! We really enjoyed the crabcakes, crawfish etouffe + fried crawfish tail combo, and the blackened shrimp and crawfish pasta! Price was good in my opinion too! We will be back.
Food was supposed to be mild, it was so hot my lips hurt. It was so hot I did not enjoy it at all. When we told the waitress she said oh you can order it without the spicy stuff. That would have definitely been nice to know, since I had to order something else that I could eat.
I understand the 3 star rating. Stopped in while waiting on a table at Kelly's. Worst bar service ever. Had to get the manager to place a beer order and then had to chase down a waitress on the floor to place additional orders at the bar. Disappointed.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant. We sat at the bar. The bartenders were very friendly, but could have been more attentive at times. I had to ask a server walking by to place one of our food orders. This was a Saturday night so this is understandable to an extent of course. The atmosphere here was overall great. I only had two cocktails (both recommendations) and they were equally good. The food was good, came out quick, and had a nice kick to it. We plan to go back.
Awesome neighborhood caun/pub/sports place. Try the cajun cocktail, its awesome!
On busy days, order at the bar. They must be constantly understaffed, because table service is slow when it's full. All of the staff is nice in our experience, though. We almost always go before Allen Americans games since it's across the parking lot from the arena. Above average, but not 5 stars.
Light traffic in the restaurant tonight. Service was attentive and friendly. The food was hot spicy and well prepared.
