Although any covid-19 practices were not in evidence the rest of the experience was good. First and foremost, I want to applaud this location for hiring people with, for lack of a better word, disabilities. Our waitress was one of these people and she was the best waitress that I've experienced in years. She was fast, accurate, and very friendly. As to the food we ordered it was very good. I ordered blueberry pancakes and they were full of fresh blueberries. My husband ordered Grandma's sampler which came with several kinds of meat (we shared the meat). All of the meat was cooked properly and very flavorful. I would definitely recommend this restaurants if someone is looking for a good meal with good service.
I wanted to give this Review 1 star due to the treatment we received yesterday. We arrived and there was no host/hostess at the stand. There were several employees that saw us waiting but not a single one stopped even to say, "Let me someone to help you." We waited for 15 minutes. An African-American man dressed in street clothes came up to us asking if we had been helped. We replied, "No", and he said, "I am not working today, but I will get you sat." He took us to a table, and said, "I will get someone to help you." We waited about 10-15 minutes with several employees bypassing our table. Again, not a single one greeted us, asked if they could take our drink order or even offer yo take our order. I got up from my chair to see if I could speak with a Manager. The lady at the cash register called, "Becky" to come to Customer Service. And there still is no host or hostess at the stand. I waited 7 minutes for Becky to show up. Finally, the hostess, Shelly, came back to her post, and the lady at the Cash Register asked the Hostess to call Becky again. Again, I waited about 5 more minutes and Becky came "bouncing" out of the kitchen-pink hair and all. I began to tell her how we were ignored and had to be sat by someone in street clothes who wasn't even working that day. All she could do was flutter her false eyelashes. She said, "I am so sorry. I will have a talk with THEM." She didn't offer to make pur experience better in anyway. She was very patronizing, and really didn't seem to have a care about our experience. Becky you are definitely NOT MANAGER MATERIAL!!!It's a good thing this location has Freddy! HE made our experience better. He was friendly, engaging, and had a pleasant attitude! Our order was taken brought to our table quickly. He checked on us frequently. He would definitely be my choice for Management to replace Becky! To the African-American gentleman in the black hat and black jacket, I hope this review hits your desk. You have a great asset in Freddy!
Great store. Great food. Great service.
We went during lunch and was seated right away and we received our food very quickly. The food was hot and tasty! The waitress recommended the daily special and it was a great recommendation!
Love me some Cracker Barrel!Cracker barrel was always a special treat my family and I got on long road trips, so I was excited when one opened up right down the street. I've been here many times, but this time was just a little extra special! My friend has always claimed to not like Cracker barrel, due to not liking it from a young age, but I encouraged him to give it another shot, and he agreed. We arrived for breakfast, and had a wonderful meal that, after finished, my friend had a new opinion on Cracker barrel. Looks like Cracker barrel has a new fan!
We arrived around 6:15 with our 5 and 8 year old and had chosen Cracker Barrel so that if their was a wait we could wander the shop. They sat us immediately which was a nice surprise. But then no one came to take our drink or food order. We sat and did ALL the activities in the kids menu. The manager appeared to be standing by the fireplace watching everything. She never once moved to check on customers. She even made eye contact with me and my husband but never left the fire. The restaurant was busy so we were trying to be patient. Finally after 20 minutes, a server named Luis stopped and asked if we had been helped. We told him no and he said this wasn't his area but he would take care of us. Once Luis was our server everything was fantastic. He was great with the kids and attentive. Food was good but not fabulous. It may be awhile before we eat there again.
Who knew cracker barrel sold alcohol with their meals. The chicken fried chicken was so good I forgot to take a picture. Server was new and he tried really hard but forgot to close out the ticket so we could pay.
We arrived late morning and were given the choice of breakfast or lunch menu-we took one of each. Service was prompt and accurate; there were two servers as one was in training. Food was good and plentiful, and our glasses were refilled without needing to ask. Great meal!
