Staff is usually very good. I think the food is very authentic. My friends really like the Margaritas
The hidden gem is 1000% worth the trip! Clean, especially the restroom, friendly(I love it when the owner/mgr walks the floor and visits), huge portions and homemade! If you are craving delicious TexMex, do your taste buds a favor and visit Chepa's today!!!
We have come here a few times and always had great service and the food is always great. But today they blew us away. We had a very large party and the service was beyond anything we've experienced anywhere else. Our order came out perfectly with no issues. We were there for Mother's Day and they gave each of the mothers a rose, dessert and chocolates. Seriously such a perfect meal.
The food and service were excellent. But by far the home-made flan was outstanding! The best by far that I've had since my grandmother's. The Guisado was very flavorful as well as the shrimp tacos. We will definitely return and bring the rest of the family to enjoy this excellent family restaurant!
This place is awesome! Great chips and salsa. I had the lunch enchiladas and OMG! So good. I’ll definitely be coming back here.
Read so many rave reviews about Chepa's & we happened to be close by. OMG! Jesus, our server, was great and the food wonderful. Don't miss the 1/2 price margaritas on Mondays! Delicious & potent.
Food was delicious; skinny margaritas are the best. Table service very attentive. Reasonable prices. Unfortunate experience: this is a noisy place when full. We were seated in a corner booth that happen to have one of only a few speakers located directly above. Half way through dinner someone decided that we needed music; it was much too loud...we could hardly hear each other talk. I approached the receptionist and asked that the volume be turned down. We then watched as six different staffers held a conference for five minutes to discuss my request. Finally the music was turned off...but for only for a few minutes as we again were drowned out. Perhaps they wanted us to move-on...which is what we did.
Nice staff. Had the veggie fajitas. Very good- mushrooms, carrots, zucchini ,onions, squash.
There was so much salt in all of the food that I could not finish my meal. When I got home I had to drink water non-stop for a few hours. I have never had that kind of experience before. It seems they use a ton of salt to make up for lack of flavor.Mushrooms and spinach were undercooked and tamales had freezer burn flavor and way too much bread. Nachos were good. Not ever going back.
We have been coming to this place for maybe a year now, the food is always fresh, well prepared, flavorful and has great portions. They acknowledge you when you walk in and make you feel welcomed. Their staff is great and their food is AUTHENTIC Mexican food. Love their mimosas and micheladas. This place is great! We have had several meals from their menu and they never fail! Highly recommended. They also have larger booths that can sit about 8 people, it’s great! Thank you to ALL of your staff, cooks, hostess, waiters ,waitresses and management.
