I was there on Fri noon, and had ordered beer and appetizers chips and queso. This lady server at the bar served stale, rancid queso, and when asked claimed it was Velveeta and had run out of regular cheese. Also, she deliberately served burnt chips, and I was not sure was due to the color of my skin or an oversight. Will never go back again.See pic that I have posted.
Tonight the weather was very nice, my parents and I who are in their 60s and wanted to sit comfortably, we were told unfortunately after 6pm they couldn't seat for the patio. Okay, well after finally being seated inside, my dad's choice to sit down had a puddle of slobber on the floor. He mentioned it to our waitress, but she didn't seem encouraged to react, not even a sorry, however she did say that there was a baby prior to us. So, I just offered my dad to sit in another chair. I took it upon myself to inform the front desk associate, just so the next party sitting there wouldn't have the same worry. Being a manager myself, I'd like my team to inform me of inconveniences for customers. The food was great! As we were leaving around 8pm, we noticed a family of 6 or 7, and another party of 4 were all being accommodated on the patio. :(
BJ's always has consistently good food and drinks, no matter which location I have been to. They have a good atmosphere as well. If you are a beer lover you will love BJ's as they brew some of their own concoctions as well as sell a lot of mainstream and craft beers on draft. They also have a substantial cocktail menu. All in all, BJ's is a solid choice for a meal.
Needs some quality assurance checks before sending to-go orders out the door. Ordered through grub hub and this is what I received. Dry nachos missing queso and no plastic ware for the rest of my food. I’m in a hotel from out of town so needed the plastic ware and napkins to eat.
Not impressed. Service was ok. Menus did not have nutritional information. Had to use website which had details for some items. Server insisted there was no lunch menu, website proved otherwise. Prices are steep for what you get. I was able to order a lunch item. I feel you'd get better flavor and portion size for less $$ at Applebee's off their normal menu. The server did overcharge me for my side salad, which wasn't very good by the way. It should have been $1.75, but he charged me full price and I had to have that corrected. Always check your bill and be aware of prices.
Was my first and will be my last visit. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The wait wasn't long as I sat at the bar. However when my food arrived spaghetti was hot, but the meatballs was cold. I wanted to send it back, however I don't want my food to be tampered with so I just eat what i could and left. For the entire night I felt sick at work. This morning I ended up vomiting, not to mention having to make few trips to the bathroom.I wished I had followed my mind and just leave when I got there.?
This review comes after 2 separate trips roughly a week apart from one another. The first trip I ordered a flight where all 4 of my glasses were dirty, and when I had the glasses exchanged 3 of the new glasses were dirty. My wife and I ordered a pizza and a sandwich, both of which were cold on arrival to the table, and the plate to go with the pizza was dirty. For reference, BJ’s pizzas are supposed to be scorching hot on arrival, and this pizza tasted as if it was ordered 30 minutes prior to our arrival. After dessert we spoke to the manager who offered to comp our meals, however we took home boxes so we felt it would be unfair to have them comp our meal. The manager then provided us a coupon for a free pizookie (with $15 purchase) and apologized. This is why we returned for our second visit. Our second visit, we ordered basically everything exactly the same as we did for our first. This being said, I was still given dirty flight glasses. In addition to this, the table next to us received a dirty serving spatula with their pizza. When we presented the coupon given to us by the manager in response to our last visit, we were told that it wouldn’t be accepted because it wasn’t valid until the day after. When I asked to speak to the manager about this, she acted like she was doing me a huge favor by honoring the coupon she provided me (a $7.50 value compared to the $80 value of our previous poor experience). Needless to say, we will not be returning to this BJ’s, or likely any other BJ’s after this.Serving customers dirty dishes is never acceptable, and you would think after doing it once you would have the issue corrected.
Been going to BJ’s for years and loved it, but boy have they gone DOWN HILL. Went there on Tuesday because it’s 1/2 price wine. I ordered a tavern cut pizza with extra cheese and green pepper. My pizza hardly had any cheese on it and it looked like they “threw on” some raw green peppers as an after thought. A food runner brought out our food and the server didn’t come back to the table for a while. When he did, I told him about the pizza and he said he’d tell the manager-who never came to the table.I got the bill and paid, but when I got home I saw that we were charged $15 for a bottle of Dark Horse Chardonnay! Hardly- 1/2 price. Every single BJ’s online menu shows Dark Horse Chardonnay is $10. Looks like I’ll have to give up BJ’s and find someplace else to spend my money on…..sad….
Blake served us today and accommodated my food allergies perfectly. 10/10, we will be coming back.
We ordered shrimp scamp and there was a piece of plastic, yes plastic, in the food!! I thought it was the shrimp tail and it is shewy but it was not it was a peice of plastic. I am glad I did not swallow it and caught it in time. I called and spoke to the manager and he advised they will make it right, but we never heard back from them. I am sad that our 1st experience with them that way.
