These people are a rip off, my coworkers and I ordered food and asked for extra sides and meat and paid for it. Then they didn't give us what we asked for. Then when talked to them about it, they denied it and argued with us and said they did give us extras. No they didn't. It was ridiculous and we were shocked that they gave us attitude. Terrible customer service. We've spent so much money at this place because it's where we all go, and they didn't care, didn't acknowledge. Absolute garbage business ethic.
I found this place by chance and liked their food so much that I returned the next night to order food for my entire family. What a mistake I made going there again because I got the worst food and customer service I’ve ever received. The first night I requested medium spice level and it was perfect. The second night I ordered the same medium spice level and it was insanely hot like fire from hell. I called to complain and the owner was so uncaring, rude, mean and defensive. She blamed my food being max level spicy on the new bag of chili pepper they just opened. She claimed that they do not know how spicy the chili pepper is and they just add it to the food. She blamed me for ordering my food medium spicy. She told me I should have ordered it mild and asked for the spice on the side. Seriously? Why ask and offer spice levels if you can’t do it right?
Got there 4 minutes early for my to go order, didn't mind waiting. Ordered a chicken pad thai level 2 spicy and it was good but really saucy for a pad thai. Throughout my meal, I kept biting on something hard and grainy. I thought it was the peanuts, but it turns out they cooked in chunks of eggshell in my meal. I heard them say "early" when I arrived so I can only assume that's why the eggshells got in there (because they rushed it). I also ordered a small cup of soup, wasn't filled all the way. I'm not mad, but I'm disappointed that the closest Thai/Laotian restaurant to me gives small portions and can charge $15 for all this, not including tip. Just doesn't feel worth my money.
Great taste and presentation. This place is super underrated. People don't know how to accurately rate restaurants around here.
One of my favorite Thai/Lao restaurants. I love their kuay jarb, such a rare dish to find but it is my favorite. Prices are good, food is great and customer service is always excellent. Anyone I introduce this restaurant to always enjoys it as well. A great family owned restaurant!
We stumbled across A Bit of Lao and Thai last night. It was absolutely delicious! The person working was a delight too. Even the drinks were unique. We had Thai tea and hot green tea. We live about 40 minutes away, but we will be back. This little gem is worth the drive.
This is not just the best Thai food in Allen. This is probably the best Thai food I've had here in Texas. You get a lot for what you pay for and every bite is delicious. I've not had a bad dish here yet and I'm still exploring the menu. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're missing out.
If you want to just give a taste then go ahead and order it..super tiny portion of food, ordered beef with broccoli, so just a few broccoli and beef.
Don’t order delivery. They used to be good but lately delivery has been bad. They mixed up spice levels once, I didn’t complain. This time they confirmed our order but never started it or never finished it. We ordered at 8:45 and waited until 9:45pm, they close at 10pm. There’s better food elsewhere.
Such a great place. My family and I are enjoying trying different dishes and they’re all full of flavor. Starting to be our go to place.
