Food was okay , far from great desserts were way overpriced but good. I think what made it a one really was the service. I know COVID had been hell on restaurants, but there were only 2 tables occupied and it literally took us an hour and a half for our food and check. Three waiters and all of for two tables. Not doing this one again
Ferrari's was a place we used to frequent. This was our first visit in many years. We arrived about 615 pm and the place was largely empty. By 715 it was hopping w just about every table full. I like the layout of the place. The staff are friendly and helpful. The menu is a nice size, not too big, not too small. My wife had chicken parm, my mother in law had salmon, I had the bone in ribeye. All were delicious. The ribeye was thinner then expected but flavorful. Overall a very nice dinner out. We will definitely be back.
The service was extremely disappointing the manager Arturo need management training. The server was new she has only been there for a week and she had no one training her customers service skills needed a lot of work. Overall experience was disappointing. Horrible first impression
LARGE GROUPS BEWARE!We booked this restaurant for a very special event but we were all highly disappointed. The customer service was very poor, the hostess acted as though she didn’t want to be there and was helping the waiter with drink orders. There was 14 of us, she was getting drinks for 3 people at a time instead of just grabbing a notepad and writing everyone’s order down, she seemed confused the entire time. The waiter Arturo came to take our orders, he didn’t explain to us that salads (very small) were an addt’l $6 he made it seem like it was included in the meal. Our meals comes out and they are very small portions compared to other nice places we have gone to, we had to remind them of everything (refills, Parmesan, silverware). We didn’t want to make a big deal and were ready to be out of there that we didn’t even bring up that one of the dishes had pieces of chicken in it, and for religious purposes we cannot eat that. We asked for extra Alfredo sauce and it was like he didn’t want to bring it to us because he kept saying it’s going to take a while because we make everything from scratch, he literally brought it out no longer than 2 minutes later. Finally, we ask for the check as we would all be paying separately, Arturo told us that the tickets could not be separated and it had to be paid in one ticket, which was insane! He said that we would have to do the math and then we can tell him how much to charge on each card, he proceeded with taking two cards at a time which again took forever! He proceeded to tell us that he had a table of 15 earlier and he did the same thing to them (we don’t care about previous clients, and it shouldn’t have been an argument) and said that in the future we should tell them at the beginning that we will be paying separate “well isn’t this what they should ask us?” The next day we call to just provide feedback, this is when we found out Arturo (waiter) is the general manager and while explaining what all went wrong he got defensive and hung up on us! Highly DO NOT recommend this place, their lack of service is unbelievable and their food was not great for the price.
Terrible service. Waiters were so rude and act like they are doing us a favor. The manager Arturo is the worst. When we called the restaurant after our visit, he hung up on us. No one should waste their time here. They also charge for every extra thing they bring out to the table. Food wasn’t even good.
Had a very bad experience dining here! The food was not good and the service sucked! The most important thing for any business is how they welcome their customers and their needs. Will never go back here. Very disappointed.
One of the best Italian restaurants in Dallas.Everything I've had here is fantastic. If you want a nice romantic dinner spot or a great dinner with some friends for Italian, go to Ferrari's.
We visited Saturday June 19, 2021I've passed this place thousands of time but decided to give it a try, early Father's Day dinner. I was highly disappointed we had a reservation. We waited 10 minutes just for water, over 25 minutes for our steaks. I wasted $50.00 on a cowboy bone n ribeye! My steak was small and full of fat, tough, over cooked (requested medium) received well done, no flavor, salt or pepper, just bland piece of $50.00 tough meat and fat. I asked for double potatoes (didn't get them, single serve) so hard couldn't cut them.My husband ordered well done steak, received medium. We waited so long for the food just to be let down. We were able to eat a little and take the rest to go but it's not worth eating. My wedge salad was great. My husband enjoyed the pasta carbanara that came with his steak. We both enjoyed the bread. My feelings are still hurt as I thought I was surprising him with a great italian dinner.
My wife and mother took me here last night (June 20, 2021). We had been here several times before and the service and food was always exemplary. Not tonight! We got there early at 5:00 and no one was there so you would think that the waiter (Gianni S) would be very attentive and friendly. He was not. After he came by to say "I'll assist you", he brought waters and we waited a good while before he took our drink orders. He had a very surly, aloof attitude, like he wanted to be somewhere else. Since there was no one in the restaurant, I could see that the waiter had personally made our drinks. I had a martini and my wife had a Cosmo. We finished our drinks and a very strange thing happened...no buzz from the alcohol! These were the weakest drinks we had ever seen. We were going to say something but thought if we get another drink from this surly guy he will probably spit in them! Well the food finally came. The antipasto looked like cold cuts slapped on a plate with no presentation at all and the waiter had spilled some of my $38 Cioppino unto my plate! He said "sorry about the spill" without offering to clean it up or bring me another!! To make matters worse, the food was very mediocre, definitely not worth the $238 we were charged. He had also charged us $16 for each martini and my mother wanted to give him no tip. I said no you can't do that to any waiter (was I too nice?) so they gave him a $20 tip and we left. My wife circled the drinks on the bill and wrote the word "weak". Imagine our surprise when THE WAITER CHASED US DOWN IN THE PARKING LOT and started yelling at us "It's not my fault that I made the drinks weak...blame it on Joe Biden!" I then asked the waiter "are you blaming Joe Biden for the horrible service too?" Now he gets pissed and starts yelling at me, "I gave you great service, I was so nice to you..." He then tells me to go F--- myself and runs back in the restaurant. So I go back in the restaurant to speak to the manager/owner. The waiter tries to block me and says " I'm calling the police." For what, I say, trying to talk to the manager??? What a complete jerk!!! I find the manager/owner and start to tell him what happened. Well, he could not care less, saying to me "I am too busy to deal with this so just give me your name and I'll take care of you another time". Just awful service all around!!! When you spend $238 at a restaurant you expect fine food and great service. What we got was mediocre food, terrible service and chased down in the parking lot! NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!
Absolutely amazing cheese sticks appetizer. Had the chicken Parmigian with spaghetti and tomato sauce instead of fettuccine and it was mouthwatering! A little pricey but i think its worth it.. Will definitely come back again.
