All these people must be mistaken by this place..they are probably talking about the Hernandez bakery on butternut.. because this place on oak Street sucks..I ordered 2 carne con chile verde.and a bbq burrito..and the moment I took a bite..I couldn't even tell what kind of animal this meat was from....one bite and I threw them away.they were awful..do not go there..the Hernandez bakery on butternut are better .and it's Alfonsos bakery.. please people do not get these two places mixed up..

We visit this place every time we are in town. Never disappoints. Carne guisada with cheese and the barbacoa are dang good!Can’t wait until we make another trip out to Abilene ❤️
Ordered barbacoa, more fat than meat. Got tacos de guisada, wasn't impressed with the flavor. Willing to order something different and try again.
Slow service and unhygienic food safety. Hair in your food is not a plus.
They know their phone doesn't ring but they have no plans to fix it. Ordered when I got there only for them to say something was out of stock. That's fine but please don't tell me in Spanish. Last but not least I twist my ankle on a pothole in their parking lot. Why do nearly all Mexican restaurants look run down?
