we had great customer service from our waiter Ed with the grey half moon beard. He was so courteous and attended to our needs. He made sure my carrots were steamed more and sent another waiter to make sure my carrots were much softer to my liking. We enjoyed our visit to our favorite restaurant and will request Ed to be our server every time. Also, I wear a tracheostomy and when I sat down at the front near register I started having a chronic cough from the smoke from the kitchen while we waited for our table. The staff went to the back and brought me some water so I could take my Rx cough pill. My cough went away immediately. Your staff was so helpful to me. Thank you Texas Roadhouse. We will return.

Such good food and service is awesome every time!

If you ever get the chance to eat at the Abilene Texas roadhouse, you should hope that you get One of their best servers Jesse Gossett!!! This young man is an outstanding server, pays attention to detail, and is very friendly! He was our server two weeks ago and remembered over half the stuff we ordered last time. He was very quick to bring us everything we asked for and ALL the food was completely correct for everyone in our party!!! Tonight we came in for my birthday and I could not have asked for a better experience than what was delivered to me from this gentleman!!!! He went above and beyond in every way and I want the higher-ups to know that the staff they have at this restaurant is top notch in every way!!!!! Thank you Jesse for a nice evening, I appreciate it sir!!!

My wife and I and our two kids came to TX Roadhouse the last time a few months ago the service was nit great and the food was mediocre at best. We decided to give TX Roadhouse another shot. The waitress didnt know a lot 9f things, they were Out of half dozen beer types. Out of lettuce, Out of mayo, and who knows what else they were Out of. My wife and I ordered medium cooked steak we got well done. I asked the waitress to bring me any beer except the Boston lager and what did I get? If you guessed Boston Lager you are correct!I can go on and on about everything that was bad but this should give you an idea.Bottom line... this used to he a good restaurant but it just been going down hill...needless to say, we will not be back here.

First time at Texas Roadhouse! Smothered Chicken absolutely delicious! Manager Gilbert was very kind and came to our table to make sure everything was good and gave me a gift. Our waitress Keldee was very attentive and smiley. All the employees were having a good time. The food and staff are wonderful, seated and served quickly as well. Highly recommend Texas Roadhouse!

For a group of 7, we were seated quickly. Staff members were courteous and polite. One staff member who was off duty, stayed and took our drink orders and made sure we were taken care of by a new staff member before she went home. Great atmosphere and Great food!

I deleted my other review for one reason. I gave my word and promised someone I would change it. So with that being said, here is my review..Shelby at Texas Roadhouse personally called me herself and she handled the situation with so much professionalism. Shelby is so nice and she is way beyond professional at taking care of her customers and business. She is the type of business professional that I would have running my company at twice her income. Shelby is absolutely amazing. Now as for the 2 young gentleman in the To Go Order, Clayton and Eric, they were so respectful and very good at taking care of customers. I have to say that it's because of those 3 people that I will continue my business at Texas Roadhouse.Thank You so much Shelby, Clayton, and EricThank You,James Beggs.

This was based on a 'curbside' experience on a Saturday night which I understand is busy, but that's also when staff should be on their A game. I ordered a Cactus Blossom, 12oz Ribeye with Baked Potato topped with butter and sour cream, House Salad with bacon and extra ranch. Also a side of grilled onions and a sweet tea. The most enjoyable part of the meal was the Cactus blossom and the sweet tea. Rolls were tough. Steak while I understand has a lot of marbled fat in it, it was hard to cut when I ordered it medium (this one should have been for a well done steak because the fat would have melted more). The baked potato undercooked and cold. Salad didn't have the bacon bits I paid extra for, nor the extra ranch. The salad also was most white stems of the lettuce which I personally can't stand. I also didn't get the silverware that I asked for as well. I don't understand how this was supposed to be curbside when the app didn't ask for vehicle info, or the text and/or app ask for the parking spot number for when I got there to pick up my order. Next time I want a steak, I think I'll just come inside seems to be great service there.

We've been fans of Texas Roadhouse for years, but this was our first time at this particular location after moving from Georgia. I don't know if it's because we're actually in Texas or what it could be, but this Texas Roafhouse is superior to the ones we've gone to in the past. The service was friendly and efficient and the steaks were amazing! We went for my husband's birthday, but we'll return without the need for a special occasion.

Went for my son's birthday. We had to wait for a table, no big deal. Text message sent to my husband, we go in, and we wait again. From an objective standpoint, it seemed semi chaotic. Service was great, food was good. Otherwise. O concerns
