The owner is hateful. She had miscellaneous charges for items I didn’t purchase. She charged any ways.Her husband and son try to be intimidating. I will be reporting your punks to the better business bureau. Ps. Your food isn’t that good! (At all)

Lived in abilene 8 years and finally visited this place for lunch. Usually they are very busy. It was the same today but we managed to get a table. The food is good and prices are reasonable.

Got a number 9 and my meat was burnt pretty bad. I could only eat a few bites of it. When I brought it up to waitress, she just turned and walked away. I then brought it up to cashier. Didn't offer an apology or show any concern. Just ignored what I said. Why ask how everything was if you don't want to hear the truth? Not my first time there. Other time there were issues with a couple orders that they did not fix or care that there were issues.
I love the food but ordering the food and getting what you order is absolutely impossible here. I came in and ordered to go. Got home and most of my order was wrong. When I called I talked to someone who didn't take my order and they said they would fix it for me if I came back up to the restaurant. I get back up there and the owner is at the window and she tried to charge me more money for an order she messed up in the first place. She wouldn't give me what I was missing and wanted me to pay more to get what I was missing. My kids didnt get their food so I had to give them mine so they could eat. It was a disaster and I will never return.
The food was really good. The salsa is the right amount of spicy. The tacos have good flavor and are not dripping grease! The molcajete was good and is very large. Will definitely be coming back.
The service was really nice. They kept our drinks filled and chip baskets full. The food was really good and was worth the price. I do recommend a try.
I was here literally 51 minutes ago, and got my favorite dish, steak a la Mexicana, to go. I wish I had stayed because it was so good I could have ordered a whole second platter! I literally wiped out my to go container with a tortilla so I could keep eating it. It was chock full of onions and peppers that were perfectly cooked but not very spicy, which the salsa more than made up for! One taste cleared my sinuses right up with a delightful burn that lasted only a few seconds. The beef was juicy and still tasted perfectly of *steak*! Something about the refried beans and rice were sublime. The whole meal was a joy, even though I ate in a gas station parking lot. I don't know if I'll be able to even try this dish at other taquerias it was so good. I'm seriously considering coming back tomorrow. I don't know what these fried and sugared tortillas are called either, but they're beautiful and phenomenal and absolutely worth the five dollars I paid for them!
Delicious as usual. Had the menudo. Could have been spicier but tasty nonetheless. Service is always great!
