Horrible experience at this Sonic. Used the Sonic App to help the order go smoothly. That was a mistake. I waited for 1 hour at the Sonic to get the order. It took them 20 minutes to answer the initial call button. They answered. No food. I could see to-go food sacks in the food warmer inside. ( One was mine). I started pressing the call button again after about another 15 minutes. No answer, they’d cancel the intercom and I’d press the red button again. My family, who’d been waiting over an hour at that point, started calling them on the phone. The order had already been paid for or I would have left long ago. At that point someone came out and said my order was so far down the list they didn’t work it. We got our order over an hour after sending it in. Don’t use the Sonic App and be prepared for incompetence at this Sonic.
Ordered online and paid online. They lost my order and said it's free but in reality I already paid. So I had a terrible time. Got to work and couldn't eat it. ????
Sonic is practically as American as apple pie. I have visited many Sonic Drive-Ins and have had a variety of experiences - some exceptional; some not so great. The one I am reviewing here is just a few blocks from me and I stop in about once a month. The carhops are friendly, the food is always tasty, and I enjoy trying their special drinks. I wish they would bring back the apple pie shake!The down side of all Sonics now is the absence of 50s and 60s period music coming from the speakers, and, at least, one or two carhops on roller skates.
The order came out quick.
They have the music up so loud they can’t hear you orderThey come out and act as if they don’t know how to take an order and just talk over youThey took forever and then there were items missing when they brought the order. So we had to let the rest of everything get cold while we waited again for those missing items
Not my favorite sonic. It's always fast, but the tots are always burned or hard. The sauced boneless wings are always small and inedible pieces. Only reason we go to this one is because it is close to where we live.Edit : Why everytime we come here now and get those 99 cent fritto wrap jr things they always do us dirty. Thisd isn't even a burrito or a wrap, it's like a pillow for a bird or something. Pic added. Save yourself the trouble, go somewhere else.
Sonic is sonic, everyone knows. Food is good, servers are friendly, prices high. Pay for the quick service.
Service was good. Apparently they have trouble getting supplies in because after placing an order on app, go to pick it up I discover we didn't get some of it.
Judge Ely is best Sonic in Abilene! The best service anywhere! I go there every day and they are awesome!
