South 14th has great service in the day time but in the evening their service is very sad to say gone down hill. They are closing the drive thru and still can not attend the customers and they will make you wait and wait before they even turn the speaker on to take your order I see so many people drive off so tired of waiting to get their order taken or their food brought to them. It is like they do not want customers they will tell you you just have to wait 35 or more minutes
I was in drive thru with my 2yr old and Prego wife and sat for almost 20 mins waiting for a damn medium tater tots at the window watching others burgers sit there for almost 10 mins uncovered while the builder tall skinny kid black beanie on talking as were 4 others then just turns around and starts building the burger no washing of hands considering he was touching the counter and wall area. We did this a few weeks back and left cause the shift at night was goofing off and smoking and never took our order so we drove off.
Experience today was not good. First the screen was broke at the stall we pulled in to. So you couldn't pay with your card. Next it took quite awhile before they acknowledged us after pushing the service button. At least 10mins. Could've just said we'll be with you shortly. But nothing. Then the order was messed when it was brought out to the car. The girl kept apologizing as if this had been an ongoing affair.

What a clusterf**k. They lost one order and had to remake it and the other also took way longer than it should. At least the employees were nice.
I ordered a chicken fried steak sandwich. When I bit into it , it was cold and hard. I'm not as stupid as they think I am and I know I could tell the difference in a freshly cooked chicken fried steak and one that has been dipped in the fryer to make it look like its a freshly cooked one ...but it wasn't cooked fresh . It looks like they just had it laying around and so they just dipped it into the oil to make it look like it was fresh and hot but.....it wasn't and they didn't put in my marinara sauce for the cheese sticks and the cheese sticks were warm. I was disappointed on the food.There expensive and it aint worth the money.
The service at this Abilene sonic blows the Cisco sonic out of the water!! Only ordered drinks and the waitress was just as sweet as she could be!! They did an excellent job on my cherry lime slush!!
The the freshest fast food restaurant I've ever ate at I'll order my food next thing you know it's there at the car parking lot spotless trash cans are empty gaming area is clean I like
Great coffee, service, and smiles. I go here every morning and have had zero issues with wrong orders or cold food. Very nice staff.
I love this Sonic during the day! But I can not stand going there after 6 pm. Takes a lot longer to get the wrong drink. Tonight we app ordered a Mocha Crunch Blast get it home and all it was is vanilla ice cream and chocolate crumbles on top. Someone just doesn’t care about the job. I was looking forward to trying this. I have met the owner and will let him know on Friday what has happened. I will Continue to be a loyal customer during the day, but I am done with the people on nights. Sorry Jacob
