This is the only Red Lobster in Abilene and it was such a wonderful experience. My son took me here for Mother's Day and I could not have had a better experience or food. I had the Seafood platter with lobster and two types of shrimp along with Caesar salad and broccoli. It was so delicious!!! The waitress and service was impeccable. One person in our party had several food allergies so we ask for the manager. The manager was so thorough and took the issue very seriously and talked with the chef. We had a wonderful lunch and experience. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in Abilene. Highly recommend!!!
Hostess seated my husband and myself in the very back room and did not inform anyone. We sat there for about 15 minutes and weren't even greeted by anyone. We finally were greeted and she came back a few minutes later, by then we just got up and left.Update: The manger made it right for us. We were given a gift card and used it last night.We did not see anyone that was on shift the night of the bad experience, so no one knew of the other experience, so they were not trying to just make up for it. We received excellent service from everyone. Our waitress Kiley was just the best she was very attentive and friendly. We had a great experience! Thank you for making us want to come back!
Regardless of what friends, said I went here for my anniversary and had the lobster tail for the first time. Me and my wife ended up with food poisoning not 6 hours after eating there! I'm not originally from Abilene (the coast) and have never had a bad seafood experience at Red Lobsters but this was the worse! I had lost time from work and just puked my life out after that Maine lobster tail. Un-Real
I ordered the fish sandwich and a salad to go. THE Fish sandwich had way too much mayonnaise and no bjalapeño coleslaw as advertised. Also. The fish was a good size The salad had no dressing with it. I really don't know who would eat salad without salad dressing
I’ve written one other bad review in my life. I went in with my family of 7on 3/13/22 Our waitress was super sweet very attentive. I am super picky when it comes to steak so I asked her ahead of time -“I don’t want any pink in my steak, (don’t judge) I won’t eat it! Should I just get the pizza?” She assured me she would put in a special request. After sending it back 3 times. I said “ I’m just gonna eat a baked potato and salad” she said “I’ll check and see if I can get the steak taken off your bill? I said “well that’s good cause I’m not paying for it cause I couldn’t eat it”.Then the manager comes over and says “I’ve gone ahead and taken that steak off your bill”. Like she was doing me a big favor.Never Again!
Haven’t been in a long time so I was very pleased to have delicious food and great service!
Lobsterfest can't be beaten (except maybe by Crabfest). Great food -- enough to bring home tomorrow's dinner. Our server was superb! Amber was very cheerful and attentive, striking the perfect balance between too much and too little attention.
Service and food were fantastic. The atmosphere was quiet and it made for a very enjoyable dinner.
Not worth the $40 I spent. Traditional margarita tasted like it had 0 ZERO tequila in it! Purchased battered fried fish w/baked potato butter/sour cream. I had to pay separately for each of the next items: 2 cheddar bay biscuits, fried shrimp (they do not offer fried fish and shrimp on the build your own on take-out) and a side salad. Recieved one little tiny container of tarter sauce and ranch! NO LEMON AND THEY PUT MY CRUTONS IN THE SALAD SO THEY WERE NASTY AND SOGGY BY THE TIME O GOT HOME. I don't live in Abilene!! The fish and potato were overcooked! Shrimp was good, but would have been even better with their wonderful tartar sauce and lemon! After I removed the SOGGY CRUTONS salad was good the part that had ranch on it. Guess I'll chance it and eat in or go to Galveston Seafood Company next time.
No snow since yesterday, the roads are all clear, and yet they decide to close at 6 PM, despite what their actual operating hours are. There is no bad weather (thats the excuse they used), other restraunts are open, and the least they could have done is update their hours for today online so you dont waste people's fuel. Very disappointed and will not plan on coming to this place ever.
