The food didn't have enough Alfredo Sauce I ordered Alfredo Florentine, our friend ordered Shrimp Alfredo Sauce . The shrimp had a very strong smell and was hard. My daughter ordered eggplant Rollatine. It wasn't very good either.The waiter was slow getting our food to us and slow getting back to the table it wasn't like the aOld Olive Garden the salad was good but there wasn't hardly and dressing in it had to ask for more they took forever getting it back to us. I may not have been his fault at all I think they are trying to cut cost on hiring people to work there and they are skimping on the sauces and salad dressing. I don't intend to go back unless the improve there food quality and hire more waters .
I’m going to say tonight my server was not patient, attentive and nor was she giving me respectable service I deserved. I didn’t feel valued As a patron. That’s my favorite part of being a server is making them leave happier than they came in. If you’re under stress team up baby we all gotta stick together. But she had just got her cut so was ignoring her tables and rolling silverware supposedly. I will specifically ask for a more experienced server next time. You have a lot to learn young padawan. As a server myself among cook and host I’ve done it all (I give the service I want in return) I know what I like and what is acceptable behavior at a restaurant this was not. The 2nd to last table you had was on their second date… that’s sad when they can’t learn of each other during a meal with adequate service. That’s all they could talk about was how the service was bad. The waitress was never there. I had to get up multiple times to find her, as did they. I will be calling in tomorrow cause this is not okay. The hosts were amazing they did what was needed and professionally. Very sweet to the elderly. Manager seemed nice as he waved hi and smiled at my 1 year old. So what I like to do is too is, according to service provided by our server, In my server code for myself, tips start at 50 and then go down, never lower than 25 dollars. Servers live on their tips however I never spend more than 80 before I put tip in, when I go out to eat and I think it’s fair. Honestly this time I wanted to give my generous tip to another server who stepped up to help with her tables as she sat in the lobby area with the hosts and was just talking. We sat there and waited and that’s what she was doing towards the end end.. I’m giving a 5 star rating cause 1 person does not make up what the Olive Garden offers. Their food is amazing, the manager I saw was nice I saw other servers busting their butts! Great restaurant overall!
Staff was very attentive to us and the food prepared in a timely manner even though they were busy with other customers. My sweet tea was always full and that's a must for me! My wife and I enjoyed our dinner and dessert!
It’s not the best Olive Garden I’ve been to, but for Abilene it’s the greatest! Service is great, atmosphere is great, cleanliness is next to godliness and when my kids have the urge to eat here we go everytime!
Loved it great food and service give a 10 star rating very romantic and loved our waitress... Also was good to see all employees working asa team... Great job ?
This is a hit or miss place. Depending on when u go and what u order. Thats not good! I ordered soup...one major ingredient was missing...the kale. We have to ask it be heated up to be really hot instead of luke warm. The lasagna came out cold and old looking. They went and instead of getting her new and fresh they just microwaved it and brought it back out. We were shocked to say the least. Asked for management and made them aware. They fixed it. The food is mediocre at best if u dont know what real italian tastes like.
The service was great. The food was even better! Thanks to all working there that truly helped my friend and I have a relaxing and, enjoyable dinner.
We go for the eggplant parmesan and have not been disappointed. The food is good, atmosphere good. The wait staff was very aggressive. Our waitress came to our table every 3 minutes before we ordered and then again when we received our order. It was hot and delicious but we could not have a conversation and enjoy our food so we finally packed up left. We live 100 miles from Abilene and Olive Garden is our treat. Also, we both have physical troubles and walking is a problem. We explained and still were walked to the other side of the dining room, passing many empty tables to which others were seated.
Very accommodating wait staff, but the kitchen was out of the main course we ordered from the menu (lasagna) AND also out of the brownie dessert
Really good Italian food although their menu seems to have gotten smaller than I remember. Our waitress was the best and while it's a bit of a maze to find the bathroom I'm glad to say everything was well cleaned. I would have given 4 stars but the waitress we had was really sweet and definitely deserves some recognition.
