I am giving two stars and those are being given strictly for the quality of the food because my burritos were very good. On the other hand customer service was horrible!!! Me and my husband went in because the line in drive thru was to the street. When we walked in we were not greeted but ignored and looked at for the first 15 minutes. Finally a young lady acknowledged us(still not speaking just taking our order) we ordered and I ordered 2 bacon egg and cheese burritos, a chicken burrito, and a ground meat and potato burrito. We sat down to wait again. Then I was called and my bag was missing a bacon, egg, and cheese burrito. I told the lady I was missing a burrito and she told me that I can get back in the line to order this one burrito that should have been in my bag the first time. There were others in the line by now and I could not believe she wanted me to wait again due to their mistake. I politely told the girl that took my order that she didn’t listen to my order. Moral to my story is they need to really work on their customer service because it needs to match the quality of their food for the “whole great customer experience.” I may give them another try or I may not! I will say the Buffalo gap road location is good and they are always friendly, it’s just far from my house so I don’t go there often.
Wow wow wow! That was the best burrito I’ve ever tasted! The beef was well flavored and had a nice char on it. Everything else was in there and delicious too. They used nice fresh vegetables and didn’t overload it with rice. Obviously, it arrived quickly and was nice and hit. You should also check out their “frescas”. The strawberry banana one was amazing. Make sure you go on an off-time, because the line can get really long.
Great breakfast burritos!! Very quick, fair prices, and well worth the wait in line. If you go right at opening time (6 a.m.) it's not crowded and line isn't long. But by 6:30 the line is out to the street because they're that good. I recommend trying this place out. It's very authentic Mexican food and the service is fast and friendly once you get to the window. GIVE IT A TRY IT IS WORTH IT!
Really good mexican food. Been here twice. Had the mi ranchito plate was really good and filling. Authentic mexican with a very small hint of texmex.
We came for the weekend to Abilene. Stopped here to eat in the way out. Very small, hole-in-the-wall atmosphere but the burritos were pretty big for the cheap price. Very friendly and fast service.
A rare gem! The food here is amazing. We love the burritos. And, if you like things spicy, just ask for the green sauce.
Traveling to Abilene to see family; they aren’t morning people, but I am. Researched top ten breakfast places which landed me at Mi Ranchito. Food was so amazing. I had a plate with Mexican eggs, sausage and eggs, chorizo potatoes and beans. Great flavors on all items. Came with choice of flour or corn tortillas. Definitely a return visit in my future.
Favorite place to eat! Food is great and staff is friendly.
