This place is a great choice. If you are just passing though I highly recommend! Hamburgers are huge and fantastic, and they have many very tasty options for sauces.O and it's hot out there so get some of the awesome homemade icecream!??

Had the Texan Burner and it was amazing. The habanero sauce is spicy, just how I like it. Service was top notch. Staff is very friendly.

We tried their new fried pickles. They have a new twist (at least to me) The pickles were sliced like fries and had a kick to them. I definitely recommend them. I had the lunch special (1/2 lb burger, fries (sweet potato) and an ice cream cone (chocolate waffle cone)The food was great but the service was great! The waitress (sorry I forgot to ask her name) she was excellent. She had great energy and a quick wit. She also truly concerned about our well being. So, do yourself a favor and stop by Lucy's soon!

Very good place that is nice and laid back. They have awesome customer service, and the burgers are excellent. I recommend a side of Lucy Sauce to put on each bite.Overall highly recommended.

My husband and I just had awesome burgers at Lucy's. We arrived at 1:30 pm on a Saturday and although they were hoppin', we were seated quickly. The burgers were so tasty! Hubby had the Texan with cheese and jalapenos and I had the lunch special with a smaller burger and cup of homemade coconut ice cream. We asked for our fries to be extra crispy and they were. The waitstaff worked so well together. Everyone was upbeat and working hard. Loved all the posters and sayings on the walls.

This week we tried another local restaurant Lucy’s Big Burger. Lucy’s is a small restaurant in south central Abilene. We had high hopes for this place with all the good reviews prior to our arrival but alas they fell short tonight. We started out with the best part of the meal the Jalapeño Popper appetizer. Outstanding bite sized pieces,an amuse bouche if you will, of cheesy bacon with a hint of pepper goodness. Yummy! My sister tried a #3 Lucy with Cheese. The hamburger patty had no flavor or seasoning. A little salt and pepper would have helped so much. It was cooked medium which I am not fond of and neither was my sister. The bun was was soft and sweet and would have been a great vessel for a better cooked and seasoned patty. The Onion Rings were okay cooked well but not great. My other sister ordered The Texas Burner burger. It came with Pepper Jack,Bacon, and all the veggies. She added extra onions. It comes with a sweet Habanero Sauce you add or dip as wanted. Again no seasoning on the patty but this was pretty good with added Habanero sauce. The tater tots were hot and crunchy. She enjoyed her meal. I ordered the Jumbo Chili Cheese Dog. The wiener was out of proportion with the bun. Not enough chili cheese or onion for the giant wiener. I wasn’t pleased with the taste of the wiener. It was served in a paper boat on a way too small plate. I had ordered French Fries for my side and they were mealy and cold! Yuck. The way the fries were positioned on the small plate every time you went to cut your chili dog the cold fries slid off the plate onto the table. I noticed another customer brought her plate of cold fries up front to complain. So my issue my wasn’t isolated. It took a while to get out ticket to check out. All the servers were nice and made sure our drinks were filled but seemed out of sorts tonight. We would not recommend this place. They are much better burger places in Abilene.

Great burgers, Great Vibe, Great Crew and a great lunch. The experience lived up to the hype and surpassed it for us. Fresh burgers topped with fresh vegetables, tasty fries, a great bun and served by an engaging crew. The jalepeno ketchup was a new one for me and I dont know if I can ever go back to normal ketchup again.

Absolutely wonderful! I just enjoyed the “lunch special” which included a burger so big I couldn’t finish it, iced tea or coffee, homemade fries, and homemade ice cream for dessert. To top it off, they had some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever had the pleasure to be served by. The owner even came out to check on everyone himself. If you’ve never been, this is a must visit!

First time to visit Christin was my waitress she’s awesome. I had a cheeseburger and it was very good, saved room for a scoop of peanut butter and also banana pudding, it was awesome. All of the staff are super friendly!
