Rudest owner/staff I’ve ever encountered. Went in at 745 and once I was finally acknowledged It was only to ask me if I knew what time it was & then tell me they closed in 5 minutes. Not sure what they call it where the owner is from, but their response says no one refused to take my order. This is an outright lie. When I tried to order he walked off and verbatim said “I’m not making that this close to closing time” that is the definition of refusing to take someone’s order. And idk where all these ppl with all these orders were bc all I saw was a dirty restaurant with rude employees who were ready to go home early.
I’ve never been to a business that turns customers away starting a half hour before they say they close. Nowhere did it say that you can’t order after 730 on Fridays but this is apparently the standard at this place. they believe it’s completely normal to ignore customers & make you feel unwelcome, then refuse to serve you if they feel like it’s too close to closing time. Ownership supports this behavior and called it common practice to stop taking orders if “ you come during a busy time” no surprise they cant staff their business with that winning personality! I’ve never had any restaurant act so put out and offended at someone trying to simply order 1 thing during posted business hours. Won’t make that mistake ever again.. Food is over priced, staff is incredibly rude, and ownership is condescending in the most patronizing & passive aggressive way it’s truly laughable. Definitely recommend Dante’s pizza over this establishment they actually want your business and make you feel welcome
Since we moved to Oklahoma we will go back to Abilene just for Joe's pizza!! We love the food here and the people! Owners are so friendly! Cannot recommend enough! Alfredo is the best!
Some freaking amazing pizza and service is top notch. My normal reviews are sarcastic concerning fast food but this place is ligit.
Have been coming here regularly for many years. Food is consistently great! The staff is wonderful and the place is always clean.
I really like Joe's Pizza. The team is always really friendly and the food is always fresh. It doesn't take too long to get your food. They make sure to heat up the pizza before you get it so it is really, really hot when it comes to you. The food tastes great. I recommend this location and only this location in town. I am not sure if the other one is truly affiliated with it but the other locations' food doesn't seem to taste nearly the same. The pizzas are huge! they have many options. The dine in is always super clean as well. I definitely recommend giving them a try!
Amazing ! Pizza is more than any pizza in town, by a long shot! My boyfriend makes excuses to come here. Had the pasta for the first time tonight, with artichoke and pink sauce I can’t pronounce it but, it was great!!! CNt wait for leftovers, thank you. I was even too hot to hold and held over 30 mins to my house. I’m impressed! Thank you, for a great meal.
If you order two slices of pizza, they do not tell you that the combo is cheaper. Buyer beware.Reply: That has not been the case in our experience. My wife and I have ordered two slices of pizza multiple times and we were never informed of the price difference. My wife happened to notice the difference when she made her order yesterday.
The best pizza in town . Hands down
Very delicious and cheap. Literally everything we had was perfect. They truly take the time to make superior quality Italian food. Pizza was the perfect New York style too.
