Great service, nice atmosphere. Ordered ribs, chopped brisket, and sausage. Sides of potato salad and green beans. Price was good.Brisket and potato salad was great!The ribs were decent, but was really disappointed in the green beans and sausage.The green beans came out completely plain like they were just dumped out of a can by themselves with nothing added. Even lower end restaurants add something to season up the beans a bit.The sausage was the real disappointment, very tough and tasteless. Gave a few of my friends at the table a couple pieces without saying anything, and they just kind of stared and said "that sausage is pretty bad".According to reviews, they have amazing steak, so I should probably try that sometime, but for everything else I'll continue going to a different place.
The food was great as always and came out in a very timely manner. We were never offered any bread for the table and the waitress, though attentive, was not friendly. The older gentleman that brought out our food seemed very angry toward us and not very pleasant. Neither of them smiled at us once. The only nice person was the hostess despite having to run around to seat everyone coming in, she still managed to be sweet and smiled.
A very large portion of food for what you pay here. I tried the bbq combo plate with brisket, sausage, ribs, potato salad, and cole slaw. They give you corn bread and slices of fresh bread before the meal, too. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, as well. They were pretty busy, but I still didn't have to wait long for anything. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.
I don’t know about the bbq but if you want a great steak this is your place. The bar area is a fun atmosphere with great bartenders that serve you. The jalapeño corn bread that is complementary is wonderful. Have the okra- you will not be disappointed!!!
Super satisfied! We sat in bar area, had a drink each, fabulous waitress. Split the 5 meat meat combo plate (dbl ribs, chicken, sliced brisket and sausage w/cabbag and potato salad and a extra side of coleslaw) waaayyy more food then we could finish (even after not eating breakfast) everything was perfect. Great smoke, amazing flavor. Very impressed !

Excellent steaks and catfish
Had a ribeye steak that was hot and amazing. Seasoned right, cooked right, juicy. Also had the steak fries, fresh cut, not frozen. Beans were excellent. Served with sour dough bread and cornbread with jalapeños was so good. The only thing we didn't care for was the potato salad. It was sweet, and we prefer something else. Good service and tea is just right. Keep up the good work.
Came in with a large order and had never been there so I didn’t know why to expect. Cashiers/servers were quick and friendly and had me checked out really quickly. The owner himself came out and made my Togo box of self-serve cornbread. The food was awesome. Only complain I have is that I’m full and miserable and don’t want to go back to work! Large servings and great food. Will definitely return!
