This experience was at the Abilene, Tx location on april 27, 2022. Remember, you asked.Salad bar was beautiful. The fried chicken was very good. Pinto beans were seasoned well. The fried fish was fine.Beyond that...the food was mediocre at best. Roast beef had a watery gravy. The veggies and meats were not made with love. Do you guys taste the food before it goes out?The Mexican food was unappetizing. Looked like last week leftovers. Did not want that on my plate.The dessert bar was very generic and had no wow factor.Felt like I was at a family gathering where everyone had already eaten and the food was just sitting there.Sadly, will probably not visit this location again.
We love eating here. We always get excellent servers, and the food is good.They have remodeled, which is nice. It does seem the selection has been pared down from a couple of years ago.Update: Our server was not too interested in us today. The selection of food is smaller than the last time we ate here. Dessert selection was especially meager. They have started cutting the real mashed potatoes with instant potatoes. The best potatoes are now meh.
Family loves this place!! The upgrades were definitely needed! Service has always been amazing! If you don’t know what you want for dinner or everyone can’t get on the same page go here! And don’t forget to try the fried fish! You’ll thank me later!
Love the variety & ability to pick & choose from many different meal choices. No matter what you're craving, they've got it! Good place to go when the family can't decide what to eat.
Went in very hungry my whole family Friday night the prices are unreal 19.25 each 4 ppl was 74 bucks!! We all eat half a plate because there is way to much msg in there food msg makes you full fast definitely not worth it the more msg you eat the more sicker you get Chinese food normally has a lot of msg I did think this place wood for the price go somewhere nicer for reals ....
Drove an hour to eat her for Christmas with our parents and this is the best golden corral I have ever been to. I don't even eat buffets but I'd come back here. Great staff super clean.
I always have loved the Golden Corral food chain ever since I was a little kid. The food has most of the time been good but the service from the employees is what I always look forward to. Keep up the great work!
We decided to eat here for our Thanksgiving this year. The food was delicious. It was extremely crowded but they managed to move thing's along pretty quickly and keep everyone stalked up on the different varieties of food!
Mediocre, options are hit or miss, just seems like the food is alot more bland than it used to be.. steak is good, added a slush machine for the kids so that's cool. Just not the same as it used to be when it was in the other building and the prices are outrageous...
Not extremely busy. Variety of foods. Not real dislikes or complaints. Repeat customer & would recommend even on a Sunday after church visit. New fireplace is nice addition, even though it's more for decoration & not for actually heating up dining area.
