We were passing through Abilene and needed a lunch spot so we decided to give Gloria's Grill a try! So glad we did! I am very picky about hamburgers and am always a little hesitant to try someplace new but this did not disappoint! We had cheeseburgers and fries...it was fresh, piping hot and delicious! We will definitely go back next time we pass through town!!
I love these little hamburger places. The home grown ones always taste a bit different. The place is older and has very specific hours but it was nice to try something small instead of a chain. The team was super friendly and it was nice chatting with them. The food was good. It wasn't too bad in price. The food came quite fast. It tasted good and was just right. I recommend giving this place a try. Keeping small businesses open!

Usually like this place, but today heat was on when it is in the 70's outside, worst Taco Salad I hv ever had, and drink machine broke after we purchased our drinks...so no refills for us ?

You wil actually get a hot hamburger. It’s so hot, you can’t even pick it up at first. Nice big patty cooked just right! You can get tater tots that are just the right crunchiness also! You got to stop in and meet Gloria!

Gloria's has the best burgers in Abilene! Only open Monday - Friday during lunch so plan accordingly.Thick beef patties and toasted buns - classic. If you're into taco salads, they fry up their own tortilla bowls. Out of this world good - be sure to break off a piece and dip it into their homemade salsa. YUM.
First time I had their patty melt. More emphasis on melt over the onions and adding more onions would have gotten this closer to a 5. Also a jalapeño cheese toast.
