We always enjoy our visits to both Abilene locations. Today we order the Cajun that's red fish on a bed of rice topped with gumbo and crayfish. One of today's specials was build your own platter so I chose a salad, catfish, and red beans and rice and they were all delicious. The good food and the 5 Star hospitality of our server Amanda keeps us coming back on the regular. If you haven't yet check them out when you want some good seafood choices. ? Oh and the salmon is my go to dish when I can't decide.
If you ever wondered what Red Lobster would be like with Southern flavor, then this is the place to find out! More ocean fish choices than Red Lobster too! Amanda took great care of us, very patient and helpful! There is no reason to darken the door of Red Lobster again!

This was a drive along Galveston Bay. We stepped into a Spartan eatery with the best landlocked seafood we’ve ever had. We have eaten all over the Texas coast, the Florida, Oregon, Washington, and California coasts and that was the best “Shrimp and Grits” we have tasted. Justo was a great help in letting us know about the menu and was perfect without hovering!I don’t often give out 5 stars but this was such a pleasant surprise in Abilene, TX. Give Galveston Seafood Company a try! You’ll be glad you did!
Just finished brunch at Galveston Seafood Company South. My Shrimp n Grits was amazing. My son in law had the catfish. Definitely the most authentic cornmeal batter he's had in town. Our server Justo was super on top of it, bringing out drinks, apps, food, and refills. It was our third time here, and we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend.
Excellent food, excellent service, beautiful presentation. Do yourself a favor and go check it out!! Best food in Abilene, hands down. And don’t forget to ask for Justo at the southside location. He is so friendly and courteous and keeps the service coming!
The food is the best seafood in Abilene. Our server, Amada, always makes the meals so enjoyable.The decorations could be better prepared and arranged. Hopefully, when the effects of the pandemic allow for a little more in the budget for interior updates, the ambiance will improve. Abilene needs a reasonable and comfortable seafood location...with good food.As a side note, we went to the Galveston Seafood North and would not go back, again. Different tastes completely. ????
First time here, the side salad was delicious and fresh. I had the grilled catfish which was very good not fishy at all. My husband had the red fish with grilled veggies which he says was very delicious as well. We will be coming back when we visit Abielen again.
Best restaurant in Abilene Texas… heck, even Taylor County. I never knew nontraditional seafood could be so wonderful. My wife and I have been countless times in the last year and a half and each time is our favorite.
