These are some of the nicest people we know. Good food and a reasonable price. A must stop if you are in the mall.Anyone who complains about pricing or fees post-Covid is just clueless.Ignore the haters
Looks a bit rough from the outside looking in but has really great calzones. Could do with a remodel but honestly most people take their food to go anyways. Staff can change like the weather. Get pasta salad and a calzone and then grab coastal cookies across from them, it almost makes listening to all the screaming kids in the mall worth it. Hopefully as the mall slowly crumbles around Dante’s, they can find new life elsewhere.
Have been eating at Dantes for for about 12 years now and loved this place under the old ownership. They changed ownership anout 3 years ago now and its just gone down hill. They never have any help but very heats from old employees it's because the new owners are horrible and that's why they can't keep help. My wife and I ate there Sunday and there was a sign saying menu prices reflected cash payment. ..debit and credit card users would pay 3.5% more or processing. Our bill was 20.21 but after credit card payment it was 21.49. The higher yiur bill the more yiu pay for nothing....just paying for them what they should be paying as part of their operating expense. Sorry but prices are high enough alreay...already... menu prices have also increaed...increased... I just don't think they should stick it to the customer for simply paying with a card. I feel these owners are going to run this business into the ground which is sad as it used to be one of my fav places for Italian food.
As a delivery driver I'm so glad to find out that I was banned from this restaurant sometime last year. It's probably because they only use their memory to take down orders and I didn't like it when they had messed it up. I'm happy I don't have to waste any more time walking through the mall and waiting to helped last.
Amazing pizza ! This is where we choose to go when we have pizza day and we try to expand but we come back just as in love with every bite like always! Thanx guys for making some amazing pizza ? We also love going to the mall while we wait , it’s always a good experience!
Make sure not to leave a blank tip spot on the receipt. they will fill it out for you and pay themselves for slow service and mediocre food. Then when you try to call to straighten it out they just hang up on you. They have been reported to the Texas better business bureau and the mall management office. Check your statements folks.
Awesome New York style pizza! Never had a bad meal here. A little pricey, but what do you expect from being in the mall?

Read reviews that this place had great pizza and I completely agree. Also got the plain bone-in wings and they were seasoned well and really juicy. Definitely would return next time I'm in Abilene.
