We went here for dinner for Mothers Day and my birthday. Paid $167 with tip for 4 adults and 4 kids. The onion soup was bland and tasted watered down also no mushrooms in the soups. The portions we had were extremely small. The hibachi cook only gave us half of a show, no special tricks or anything. And the food was mediocre. Next time we're going try the Tokyo hibachi restaurant here in town.
Let me start out with, “Boo Tomatoes!!!” This is the first Japanese Steakhouse I’ve ever been too that didn’t bring out any yum yum sauce, ginger sauce, or even a salad with the ginger sauce. I kind of gave them a break on the salad because maybe you don’t get that with the lunch portion. Guy cooking was nice but sucked. People typically go for the experience…you know the tricks. This guy bless his heart was horrible and kinda burnt some of my hibachi chicken and overcooked my shrimp. Never again!
I went on Valentine's Day night so it was packed, with a long seating line. The staff worked hard to get everyone seated and by the time my Emperor's Deluxe was delivered the storm had died down. Some were impatient and left, but those who stayed like me were sastified.
Normally I really enjoy this place, but these last few times I haven't. My steak was over cooked and my rice was very bland. I ordered to go and hit the road so I couldn't take it back. Very disappointed.
Had my wife's birthday party here last night and the service was amazing! Our cooks were funny and entertaining and the waitress was attentive and on point! The restaurant was so amazing and accommodating and we really appreciate the experience!
Their food is good, and filling. The staff is nice and the food comes out quick.
Unfortunately we were very unhappy with our sushi, it didn't seem fresh, the lobster roll was very dry, the cowboy roll was dry and the California roll had a sauce on it that tastes very sour, California roll does not normally have sauce. My family could not eat it.
Waitress was amazing but the chef kept interacting with the other group at our table and flirting with one of the women in that group. Chef skimped out on our rice and veggies. I got 6 little carrots and he started cleaning the grill. I had to ask him if I was going to get any more veggies and he seemed upset that he had to go to the kitchen for more veggies just for me. He didn't even bring any mushrooms with my veggies. Very disappointing.
DO NOT eat sushi here if you’ve ever had good sushi before . If your from a small town and never had sushi you may not know I figured that’s the only reason this place is still open. They sushi rolls was 90% rice. By the time you get to the meat your full from eating all the rice rolled up. I left that place and got raisin canes for diner.
This place is great fun atmosphere and great food! Ask for John, he is awesome!!!
