Seems they took over the last restaurants Google account. The pizza here just isn't it I've tried it 3 times and I've just not had the best experience, mainly food experience wise. The white pizza had 0 flavor?, the margarita pizza has tomatoes on it ?(never seen one in Italy have those) its supposed to be mainly a sauce pie with buffalo mozzarella toped with basil, the pepperoni pie has more grease on it than in my car?, the caprese salad comes with balsamic vinegrette not balsamic reduction ?, coke machine is down or out everytime I've been. Worst decision IMO was getting rid of the oven the mozzarella bar had. Yall could have made neapolitan pizza which no place south of green hills makes. The Cannolis are good. I will give you this the decor is nice. I did feel the little Italy vibe. Wish I had better things to say but pizza is my favorite dish next to sushi and tacos.
My wife and I just moved down here from Philadelphia and hadn't found any decent pizza yet aside from Viking. Salvo's definitely hits the spot!Crust was great, they use a delicious cheese, sauce was spot on, and they also had great wings. Very juicy and cooked perfect. We will definitely be back.
We finally tried Salvo's Pizza tonight and will definitely be back. We did a to-go order, so of course the calamari was soggy because of the trapped heat inside the to-go box, but that was our fault for being too lazy to get dressed and eat inside. We ate every crumb though and they were still delicious! The garlic knots had the perfect amount of garlic and butter, so you can't go wrong with these. We ordered the supreme pizza and it's now our favorite pizza in Spring Hill. The toppings, like the onions and green bell peppers, could have been spread around more evenly throughout the entire pizza. A few slices barely had any veggies while the rest had a ton, but that's my only negative. We plan to try their chicken wings soon too.
Not great at all. Salad was worse than store bought packages with packets of dressing. The sauce on meatballs tasted like it was from a can at the store. My son liked the pizza though. It was way overpriced… I would have rather spent less money and have a tasty lunch somewhere else. :(Service was slow and they seemed annoyed to help us.
It’s not just about Pizza at Salvo's Family Pizza! I had some fantastic manicotti there today and my oldest daughter is obsessed with their fettuccini with white clam sauce!Everything came out quickly and was cooked to perfection. The young ladies working this morning/afternoon were very sweet, checked in on us several times and made sure we had everything we needed. It has been really fun to watch the staff at Salvo’s learn and grow in their jobs. The young waitstaff have had the time to learn the menu, learn the ins and outs of their POS system and learn how to best serve their customers. The back of house staff have gotten their rythmn and timing down and meals are coming out in a quick and timely fashion! Just keep in mind that on Friday and Saturday nights there can be a little bit of a wait for pizza. Those are the busy pizza nights and Salvo’s pizza is made fresh to order and are worth the wait!!If you visited Salvo’s in the first couple of weeks they were open and were disappointed in the wait time or service…I would encourage you to head back and give them another shot. You won’t be disappointed!Oh and please don’t think I’m biased because my daughter works there. I’m not. I actually convinced my daughter to work their because I had a feeling the food was going to be delicious and I liked the idea of her working for a family run restaurant.
Went there with a couple friends to try it out. Waited maybe 10 minutes to get our order taken. Waited another 30 to get their orders that was brought out by the kitchen staff, not our waitress. Mine never showed. After waiting 15 a manger walked by, and my friend stopped her and asked about my order. He could see the manager talking to the waitress. We found out she never put my order in. Had to wait another 20 minutes for it to be brought to the table by the kitchen staff. Waitress finally came by to apologize. Then there's the food issue. Lasagna was hot but noting but cheese. Covered with melted cheese and parmesan cheese on top. I found very little noodles or meet. Just cheese and marinara sauce on it. Worst thing I ever tried to eat.My party was done eating way before I ever got started good. I asked for a to go box and ended up feeding it to the dog because it tasted so bad.I would not waste my money in this place. The food is not good, and the service is bad, and they don't seem to care. They never checked on us again and there were other tables that came in after we did and got served food before we did.I can't recommend you waste your money trying to eat here.
Best pizza place I’ve ever visited! Had initially heard about them from a nearby Nashville location and wanted to try it out. All the ingredients were fresh and vibrant, the restaurant was clean and professional, the staff was amazing etc. highly recommend this place for a visit. Expect a bit of a wait as they’re new and popular but it’s well worth it. Huge shoutout to Salvos family pizza from a satisfied and soon to return customer!
Excellent Italian restaurant!?? Staff was very friendly and helpful. They checked on us a few times. We were very impressed with their hospitality. We ordered the spaghetti with meat sause and baked ziti. Both were delicious and huge portions. Our dinners came with garlic knotts which were really good. We also ordered the cheesy bread. Soooo good, there was so much cheese! ? We did like the cheesy bread a little more than the garlic knotts. Ordered desert too, tiramisu and lemoncello. Tried a bite of both before we got our food. I told my husband, you don't want any of this ?. If you have a sweet tooth you will love both of these desserts. We will be back for pizza next! Thank you Salvos! You did not disappoint.
It was our first time coming here and we came on a Sunday afternoon. It took about twenty minutes for a server to even come over to our table. Most of them were kids and seemed like they would rather argue back and forth that wait on customers. Our server was a nice young guy, but I’m pretty sure this was his first ever serving job. Probably needs a little coaching to help his improvement. One red headed girl seemed like she was mad at everyone she waited on. There was one adult server and she seemed to be running behind all the kids and picking up their slack. The cheese bread was awful. It looked like they sliced open bread, threw some deli cheese on it and popped it in the microwave for 15 seconds. It was way too under done. The pizza was nothing to write home about, again too underdone. Honestly, just save yourself and go to Viking Pizza or Nelly’s. You will get good service and amazing food at either of those.
Great service, great food! The Stromboli is amazing! The waitstaff was swift and took great care of me. Fantastic Sinatra music selection! However, there is nothing else besides soft drinks, sweet tea, and water. There were wine glasses on the wall, but no wine. Furthermore, I asked for olive oil on the side of my salad, and did indeed get the olive oil. But it was odorless and tasteless- evidence of either fake olive oil or olive oil that has gone bad. So if you follow a strict Mediterranean diet, this place may not be ideal. All in all, it was a great experience, and will be back occasionally. Please offer more drink options like hot tea, wine, etc. I had to drink water trying to avoid the soft drinks.
