Heard some good things about this place...i was in the parking lot, in my car with the fam. I was fully prepared to experience the greatness of this fine establishment; prepared to consume delectable porcine delights, when tragedy befell me. My wife decided that her feet her were fatigued beyond recovery due to walking incessantly for hours on end at Jurassic Quest. Alas i relented and never made it inside, but i made a vow that i would be back. I would return, hell or highwater, and have my pulled pork.With that in mind, i give you four stars for now, and eagerly await my return so that i can give you the fifth.
Looks great online, and exceeds all expectations. Better than, not only, all other BBQ in Spring Hill - but best menu and recipes in Nashville Area.Appetizers will keep us coming back. As well as Sherry’s (the owner) voice. Get her in front of a mic, and it’s talent better than Broadway

This place is wonderful! My first two visits were carry out orders & both times the food was delicious. Yesterday my daughter and I dined in for lunch and they knocked it out the park again. My daughter had the pork nachos & they were awesome! I have ordered the pulled pork sandwich & fries every time and it’s always supreme!
Everything about Pig & Pit was excellent. The food...we had pulled pork & brisket. Some of the best mac & cheese, fried okra, and potatoes & gravy. Would highly recommend this BBQ place. The service was superb! This is our new bbq go to in Spring Hill!!!
My family really likes Pig n Pit! This last time we ate here, my husband and I both got a meat and two meal. He got pulled pork with traditional cole slaw and jalapeño cheddar cornbread, which he really enjoyed. I got (my usual and favorite) brisket with green beans and mac and cheese. I love a good brisket and I think that they have the best pulled brisket I have had since we lived in Memphis! It has so much flavor! We got a half rack of ribs to take home for our daughter and she said they were delicious and had a nice kick to them. We also got an order of bread pudding to go and my husband devoured all of it along with a couple scoops of vanilla ice cream as soon as we got home. He said it was amazing. I wouldn’t know since he didn’t save any for me…lolEvery time we have been here the food is always really good and servers are very friendly and attentive.
The hostess was on her phone the whole time we stood there so we turned around and walked out . She never even acknowledged us so we left .
Ate here last night ( 7-30-21 ) I had the meatloaf and it was absolutely delicious, it wasn't the smoked but still delicious the app. we he'd was awesome,( wings, and bacon wrapped jalapenos ). The service was awesome, friendly and very nice. I will definitely be going back.
I got the chicken strips and fries and the peach cobbler. This place was absolutely amazing. The people I gave the cobbler to said it was one of the best they have had. The people were very kind and helpful. Highly recommend coming here!
