Costa Vida has become a fast favorite for my husband and I. It definitely fills the Mexican food craving I miss from southern California.
Great quality, taste, and healthy too. Nice dine in environment. Indoor public bathrooms always makes a big difference. Never had to wait very long. Staff have always been friendly and courteous. Good customer service - your plate is always made well(put together neatly) and not stingy on the toppings.
First, the positives: I was very impressed with Xavier and Ryan and how they handled a frustrating situation. They were very helpful and kind and just great human beings. And the food is amazing (guacamole and the tomatillo dressing could be better but everything else was on point). The negatives: they closed 20 minutes early the first night I came (I had driven a few extra hours so that I could eat here, I love Costa Vida and haven't had it in a year), and the manager wouldn't let me order food even though I was in well before they should have closed and was fine buying cold sweet pork-I was desperate and he was very unhelpful.I drove back the next day and was able to get food but they made you go through the drive-thru because they closed the dining room. It was frustrating to not be able to see the options but How they swim over The food was really good and Xavier and Ryan were awesome and remembered me and made sure I had a great experience. Please whoever is in charge of this Costa Vida, don't close early, don't force use of the drive-thru, and give Xavier and Ryan a raise!
Good food for the price. I will be back again.
Only been here a handful of times and I must say the food is amazing and flavorful. the quesadillas specifically are out of this world. Staff is amazing and it has been hot and fresh every time. Pricing is also desirable. Stop in and give them a try!
I loved this place in California and it’s even better here in Spring Hill. This place has the best/freshest food and amazing customer service.
Jayden was very awesome! He came by our table because we had forgotten to grab or cinnamon roll up and had a really nice conversation with him for about 7 minutes before he said he had to get back to helping out! Very nice service and the sweet pork is a must have!
Costa Vida is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Spring Hill! The food is absolutely delicious, and the menu is simple and easy to understand. Every once in a while, they switch it up to offer limited-time specials. We are on a first-name basis with Guillermo, the main manager. He might be the owner, too, but I'm not really sure. He is really kind to his staff, and it shows. The team is super friendly, and they are more than generous with food portions. Everyone seems happy to work there, which is always a good sign! This restaurant is very similar to how the food is served at a Chipotle, Moe's, or Qdoba. I actually prefer this restaurant over the Moe's in Spring Hill because it is cleaner, has a welcoming environment, seating is open and airy, and it never seems crowded. Plus, the staff is amazing, which I already mentioned! The pricing of the food itself is the same as the aforementioned restaurants, so you won't have any sticker shock there. One confusion point is that there are many more menu items than the TV menus display when you enter the restaurant. Also, those screens are up really high, so if you are standing near them, you have to strain your neck a bit to read them. If you order from the app, you will have a different (perhaps more extended) menu than in the store. There is outdoor seating, which is fantastic. I wish there were room for more of that at this location. Another fun fact is that there is a drive-thru! It is hard to know that because this restaurant is at the end of a very busy eating/shopping strip. I think they've done a better job more recently than in the past to make folks aware of that. The parking gets a bit hairy at busy times, especially if the drive-thru line wraps all the way around the building. It's rare, but it happens. One time I waiting a solid 10-15 minutes to back out of my parking spot because the drive-thru line was long and not really moving. My favorite menu item is the $5 chicken tortilla soup. It's very filling, so great value for the money! My only complaint with that is that folks don't order it enough for the staff to know how to consistently make it. The ingredients are hit-or-miss sometimes. Otherwise, I have to remind the staff how to make it! So that feels a bit weird.Overall we always enjoy visiting this place and know we will walk away with a great experience and tons of food for the price. If you haven't visited this restaurant yet, you are missing out. When you visit, say "hello" to Guillermo!
Always a great experience!!! Great management. We aren’t looking for perfection, just good food, clean location and pleasant staff. Always very helpful. A family favorite of ours!!
I’m originally from Utah, where costa vidas are everywhere! I recently moved to Indiana, which is 3 hours away… when I found out I was even remotely close to a costa Vida I jumped in my car and made the 6 hour round trip. And man! It did not disappoint!!! The sweet pulled pork salad with the cilantro lime ranch is my go to!! I’m talking about a full fledged mouth orgasm! Yeah - it’s that good!I’d drive 10 hours round trip if I had to! Try it! 20/10 you will not be disappointed!
