I do not typically leave ratings. However, I love sushi. I ordered the lunch sushi with a tuna roll, a Philadelphia roll, miso and salad. The salad and miso came out first. The salad was good but the miso tasted like hot water with tofu in it. I sent it back and they replaced it with a clear soup that tasted like peppered water with a touch of salt. Then my rolls came out. They were luke warm which makes me nervous. The tuna had a "fishy" flavor. Fresh tuna doesn't taste fishy. I still tipped and ate but I wouldn't go back. I'm just hoping I do not get sick from the rolls. Raw fish should be cold.
Absolutely wonderful!! Everything came out hot and fast, The waitresses kept our glasses filled, make sure that everything was good in our orders was correct!! it was very clean and neat!! They even gave us free boba tea..
Some of the reviews called this place a hidden gem?, I can absolutely see why. My husband and I came here for dinner after reading the awesome reviews and wow, ? were we blown away. Service was awesome food was amazing. We would highly recommend. My husband got the wontonRamon, and I got the Tonkotsu, omg. It was delicious. We also ordered the chicken katsu, mango sticky rice and some Boba teas,, mango and matcha. If you haven't been here yet you deserve to treat yourself to this delightful hidden gem!!!
I have been to Yummy poki twice. I got their kutzu shrimp. It was so good, I couldn’t wait till the next time I went there and ordered it again. All the food is very good. And they have their own entertainer…. Their 6 year old daughter, Nora.
Great sushi, poke bowls and other foods(we usually mix it up a bit. Though everything we have had is quite good, we generally get the sushi or poke bowls. They sell beer, but if you want wine or a mixed drink its BYOB..which is just fine with us. Cant believe they havent been reviewed yet. But I am proud to be the first!
We just ate here for the first time tonight and we loved it. I had Tonkastu and my wife had the Grilled Chicken Ramen. They were both very good! We also had beef and pork steamed buns. They were very good as well! We will be going back. Didn't think to take photos, but the food was plated nicely!
Today was our first ever visit to Yummy Poki. I found them here on Yelp and was excited to try after seeing some of their menu options. I ordered a wide variety of foods including their avocado salad, chicken gyoza, veggie spring rolls, egg rolls, 2 poki bowls, dragon balls, kids meal w chicken katsu and sides, a taro milk tea and regular milk tea. Our total bill for this entire huge spread was only $70! Everything was very fresh, tasted great and even nice presentation. Even the kids meal was excellent and had a decent portion of the main plus a few tasty sides. It is a kid-friendly restaurant w ample seating, high chairs, changing table in the restroom, and even a step stool at the sink. The restaurant is clean and well kept. I was very impressed with everything except the lack of service. Server was unfriendly since the moment we walked in and honestly seemed bored and uninterested in serving. They never returned once after leaving our plates to see if we needed drink refills, dessert or anything else. This was not due to be busy at all. We were one of only two couples there in the entire restaurant. I would have ordered more to go. I'd give 5 stars for the taste, menu options and pricing. 1 or 2 for service, but the food was good enough to give 4 stars overall and I'd still go back. Just hope to get a better server or catch the one we got on a better day.
The chicken could use a bit more seasoning but the meat was juicy. The tokiyaki were amazing. Very delicious. Would love to come again and explore their menu
