Good breakfast food. Just need sweeping done between guests
It was busy I was alone so I sat at the counter. I guess about 10 minutes went by and these 2 young men came in and sat by me, I told them I was glad that I might get some attention now. When greeted, she greeted all 3 of us and took our orders. We talked and ate together and she dropped the check so I asked those 2 how much do you think ya'll cost me today?? We laughed and told the waitress we needed the check separated as we weren't together and she was kind of shocked. So while this is going on the younger of the 2 got up and paid the whole bill. This young man is 17 so I was shocked at his kindness. Just have to say these two were the best part of my dining experience. Thanks for giving me company and buying lunch! Sorry this has nothing to do with Waffle House ?
First time at a Waffle House. I have no idea how they stay in business across the country. Disgusting. ?Tasteless hashbrowns. Can't cook steak, eggs, or hashbrowns right, and the tbone was all grisle except for maybe 1 bite worth of actual meat.Complete waste of $20. But hey, their toaster works ??????
Idk what happened to this place. Granted I've not been in over a yr but oof.Bacon crisp was more like bacon burnt.Biscuit n gravy was a joke. The gravy was cold. Not even luke warm just cold. Burnt biscuits smh.Worst cheesy egg ever. Dry n all the cheese was at the bottom? Kids bacon burnt. Kids waffle doughy to the point she couldn't eat it.Coffee was old. I ate the eggs and told the waiter the gravy was cold n bacon burnt. He said ," I don't have a microwave do you want a waffle?" That comment and 1 more lack in expediting cost him a better tip.I said no I would like hot gravy and new bacon please.Prompt and diligent the food came back.Except the gravy (however they heated it) was the saltiness gravy I've ever had. I couldn't eat it.The bacon was better but extremely greasy no effort at all to soak it up. And it tasted very odd.Cooked better but greasy n off. More like old country ham or something I can't explain it.Kudos to the waiter though on trying to correct it in a professional ish manner.He is old enough to know not to microwave food but remake it.Both my kid n I for the first time didn't finish a meal or the coffee or even her chocolate milk she said tasted funny. She is 10.Waffles n chocolate milk is her comfort food and it was just horrid.Some how it cost me over $20. I worked at waffle house for over 6 yrs once upon a time and none of that was ever acceptableI just paid the meal and a half of a minimum tip less actually.Very disappointed. I don't expect gourmet thereBut I was quickly reminded on why I prefer to cook at home.I wish I could add photos that I took.Deplorable
Always check your togo order before leaving here.Waitress was very accommodating for our large order of 6 meals togo it seemed, but they forgot an order completely and messed up an order. They weren’t busy and had several empty tables. It wouldn’t be such a big deal, but they forgot a food order for someone that has an allergy issue. Again, the waitress was nice and I trusted her with the order. I didn’t think to check it, so that’s my error. Moving forward I probably won’t order Togo from them again, but I highly advise to always check before leaving.
Waffle House is always a hit or miss to me and this location is no different. All I ordered was a waffle and a side of sausage to go. I waited in the restaurant for the order and I guess I should have checked my order before I left but the only thing fresh was the sausage. The cook put a cold, limp, soggy waffle in my order. It wasn’t fresh at all. Make sure they make your stuff fresh. Ask how long the grits have been sitting out too. Waitress was nice though. Stop cutting corners and cook the food fresh!!!!
Love the workers.. specially are waitress. She chit chatted with us. I had my security dog with me and they said he could go in with us. Had a great meal this morning ?. Will go again soon
I get it’s Christmas, so a wait over an hour is to be expected.. I have an issue with the fact it was way to cold in there to dine in and enjoy food… so we had to get it to go… my major issue was, I was enjoying my food until I FOUND A LIGHT COLORED STRAND OF HAIR IN MY FOOD!!! I stopped eating it.. btw I have long DARK/BLACK hair! I think I’m done with that location all together.. I’m grossed out

The food was okay. The waitress did a okay job. The cook was very friendly. The restaurant could have been a little cleaner though.
