We were really excited to go to the tasting room for our first anniversary. For the price, the tasting portion were tiny. Kind of like a restaurant thatâs just trying to be fancy but not providing a great value to their customers. Clearly some of the decorations are left over from Omni Hut. The hostess was on her phone when we came in. Bad look for a restaurant with that kind of pricing. 10 out of 10 will not be back. Iâd rather go spend more at a restaurant like etc. in green hills.
This is not my first time to eat here and it definitely wonât be my last. The restaurant feels like a welcoming dining room in Amalfi with the amazing wine list to match. The other side of the restaurant you can sit in comfy chairs while trying craft cocktails and playing chess or other games. The ambiance is unmatched. The staff is generous, attentive, kind, and had a good pace. The food is exquisite. I personally recommend trying a tasting of every single thing on the menu. It is well worth it. The Chefâs special is always a fun surprise from elk to kangaroo, and it is absolutely delicious. This is the gem of Smyrna. There is no place like it in the general surrounding areas. It is a definite favorite and I am looking forward to the next time I enjoy time there!
Service and Food are excellent! This is our favorite restaurant. We love to take our out of town guests. My niece said she and her boyfriend can't wait to come back and go again. It is the best restaurant they have ever been to. Wayne is the perfect server, if he suggests something try it, you will never be disappointed.
The Tasting Room was an adorable spot in Smyrna, TN! While I am only in for a short period of time I was excited to try this place out and it did not disappoint. Very good food, great atmosphere, laid back, and the service was great.
The food was tragically over-seasoned. The chicken and rice soup had no chicken, and it tasted like nothing but black pepper (I love black pepper and it was far too much). The filet was nothing to write home about. The only seasoning on the duck, was on the fat. The lamb was really good. Didn't hang around for dessert after the disappointment.

This is a hidden gem in Smyrna. The food was amazing. Our server, Cheyenne, was equally amazing. The restaurant is in the old Omni Hut building, which is a little dated, but we went to eat, not look at old buildings. We will be going g back. Wine tastings every 3rd Wednesday
My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. The food was fantastic. The mahi-mahi was cooked and seasoned perfectly, as well as the asparagus, carrots, potatoes, and key lime pie. Wayne was a phenomenal server, above the level of any servers I have had at other restaurants recently, there to help you at exactly the right time but not in the way. He made great suggestions. The atmosphere was calming and not at all loud. We will definitely return.
This place is absolutely worth a try if you donât want to drive into Nashville for fine dining. You will be pleasantly surprised! Try the duck and the Shrimp and Grits!
