Ate here for the first time myself today (though my boyfriend has eaten here for years) and loved it. The owners are so kind and offer a big warm greeting. They are so appreciative for any customers that come in. The food was cooked fast and fresh and was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to eat here again, we will definitely be back more often!
What a lovely little Cafe! Owner was so friendly and very accommodating, made our delicious food in record time, special order was no problem! Served fresh and fast with a smile and very pleasant and delightful conversation! If you're out this way, stop in! You won't be disappointed!
Stopped in for lunch while passing through- was pleasantly surprised by the grilled chicken gyro which was cooked and seasoned nicely
The food is great. The gyros are fantastic. They are my go to meal. Ive also had the burger and it was fantastic as well. The owner is very polite and friendly. One of the best places in Smyrna to eat.
All the bigger name places were really busy and we found this place on google and they weren’t busy so we tried them out. By far the best food I’ve ever had and I’m really glad we came here. I would recommend this place to everyone and I’m 110% coming back. The employees are by far the nicest people and have the greatest personality and they made us feel at home. I’ve never fallen in love with a restaurant so fast until now.
We stopped in on our way through Smyrna for dinner. We decided to try the cafe, hoping to avoid a long wait on a Saturday night. It’s tucked away and wasn’t easy to find. Very clean and great service. The food was served quickly and hot. They cheerfully allowed substitutions on their menu, which had lots to choose from. We recommend giving this cafe a try.
We stopped by on April 17th and had their catfish with hush puppies, coleslaw and fries. Then for desert, their cheesecake with homemade caramel sauce. All was wonderful and the service was top notch! Will definitely be coming back and telling our friends too! Thanks for a lovely Saturday dining experience!
The food here is amazing!! The staff is very friendly and soooo nice!! Top quality food at a killer price. Highly recommend trying it out.
The Smyrna Cafe I really wanted to like. If the owners could spend just a little bit of time ,refurbishing ,cleaning, straightening maybe even working on the menu it could be a really great place. Right now with deserves a solid 3.I had a Reuben sandwich and fries. The Reuben was basic, it was a Ruben, nothing special .My wife's catfish was good, her fries were okay and that just goes with the theme of the Smyrna Cafe. I didn't see anything that was over-the-top that would rate having more stars. If any of the readers want a solid 3 restaurant to go to in Smyrna Tennessee to Smyrna Cafe will be fine...
Great find! We always try to find a local diner when we travel. This cafe is not far from the freeway. GREAT chicken tenders…everything homemade! Owners are very friendly, highly recommended!
