The food was great. The service, not so much. The guy getting our drinks and taking our order clearly did not understand any english. He took our order and would come back a few minutes later to ask again to confirm. We still got the wrong food. We had to repeatedly ask for a drink for one of us that he missed. He'd say ok but didnt bring it. My order was too complicated for him apparently, I changed to something simple. When we finally got 4 of our orders correct, we realized the fifth person of our group didnt get theirs at all. She clearly told him. So we had to wait. It just wasn't the best experience.
We had a wonderful experience at Salvo’s this evening. There was one waitress and a fairly crowded restaurant. She did an amazing job! Our food was delicious and our drinks were never empty. We will definitely visit here again next time we are in town.
This place use to be great. Then they took the buffet away. Then they raised the prices while the quality of the pizza went down. Now they don't even have delivery drivers. So if you want that $18 pepperoni pizza its gonna cost you over $30 after tip and delivery fees.
I ordered the Large Vegetarian New York Style pizza, half with cheese and half without cheese. The ratio of toppings was just right, the sauce was delicious, however the crust was way too hard. I would still order again though. But maybe next time, I'll get the Small Stromboli with Spinach, Onions, Green Peppers and Green Olives no cheese for my Vegan friend and a Small Cheese Calzone with Spinach, Onions, Green Peppers and Green Olives for myself.
We cannot get enough of this place!My husband and I were lucky enough to discover Salvos during the early stages of Covid when all the restaurants had closed their dining rooms. We were so impressed by their plain cheese pizza. It has now become our "go to" pizza place! We've also tried their chicken alfredo, lasagna, & ravioli- all good! Since then, we've had a lot of pizza! Now that they have fully opened, we eat there every Sunday night! Love the pizza, the atmosphere, and the owner/workers are super friendly as well! I definitely recommend trying out Salvos. You'll probably keep coming back too!
It was a nice place mostly. Wouldn’t recommend to someone who has a busy day ahead of them. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza, and it took about a whole hour to get my food. The other times I’ve been here, I had to leave so I wouldn’t be late for meetings. Other than that the food is delicious.
The pizza is really good and the employees are friendly and fast. I did have to take a star off because whenever I go there is always trash around the outside of the building. It makes me feel like I'm in the ghetto and my food is not going to be prepared in a clean environment.
Great flavor, big slices, multiple ways of building your favorite pizza. Great staff...hopefully they get a bigger venue with more seating and parking. Otherwise thanks for the trip down memory lane, of us going to have pizza Saturday night with the family ...priceless...
This is a great family environment. Food is delicious. Only restaurant that was open after snow storm hit area. Very welcoming. You can order out or dine inside. Very clean, hot food, amazing service!!
Best place for staying open during the snow storm!!!!
