My husband and I have liked o’Charleys for a long time. However the last few times we have eaten there it has been bad! Today the service was ok, the burgers were good but the sweet tea tasted off. The fries were ok but the plate looked dirty! Then I ordered the cobbler! It was frozen with ice cream on top. The ice cream was good but the couple of bites I tried of the cobbler was gross! Cobbler is supposed to be served warm, not frozen. It tasted like a frozen dinner that was barely thawed and not cooked! I have had better cobbler in the freezer section of the grocery store! My husband ordered a beer and they brought him water. We had to remind them twice and got it a half hour later! We also didn’t get the complementary rolls that are usually served before the meal.
The only reason i gave it 1 star is because i couldn't give anything else but 1 star... We have been to alot of high end restaraunts. We were passing through smyrna and decided to go to o'Charleys for lunch.. We sat down. It took the waiter about 15 minutes to wait on us for our drinks. They brought us rolls and butter, the rolls were brick hard. Our appetizers took 20 minutes to get to us, mind you we only had chicken tenders and potato skins.. The waiter was almost never around... Finally we recieve our appetizer platter. The waiter came back 15 minutes later. We ordered our food.. At this point we are irritated. I ordered a house salad with extra ranch. My fiance ordered potato soup.. I got my salad. Was not pleasant. The lettuce was not crisp, as in it was not fresh. My fiance finally got her potato soup, the potatoes in it were HARD. Loaded with salt, like someone put a whole bottle of salt in it, was not flavorful at all.. I tasted it myself and we both could not eat it..... We left everything on the table , paid the bill. Left no tip, and left. We were infuriated!!!! DO NOT eat here!! We paid $31 dollars to eat at this place, we shouldn't have had to pay anything!!! I definitely would NOT recommend this place to anyone!
Just in case the manager thought I was lying. I’m telling them what’s wrong with my order and all they’re saying is “you’re just missing condiments” as if I wanna eat this dry, now cold food! Not to mention it’s supposed to come with them regardless. Do y’all see these rolls ?? they bout darker than me! I bit in it and almost broke my tooth. This location never been that good- I see why it’s hidden. Antioch still remains OG
Our first visit was great, we even thought this could be our weekly stop since just moving to the area. The second visit was not what we were expecting at all. Left a comment online and received a phone call from the general manager and the response and compassion he showed we decided to come back and give them another shot. This last visit was just as good as the first. Thank you Steve and the bartender that served us! We appreciate the kind hospitality!
Our waiter was terrific!! He took excellent care of us, was polite and helpful. Our food was very good and there was more than plenty. Each of us took home leftovers for another day. When you are meeting with close friends, this is the exact kind of experience you wish to have. Brava!!
Went today with two friends of mine and considering they only had a bartender and one server and the place was pretty busy but I think they done a spectacular job and kept customer service top notch. And the food we had was great.
Not there fault at restaurant , it was the phone order service that messed up .
Easy go to that offers all types of food. Reasonably Priced. However, they need to bring back the real yeast rolls. What they have now are terrible.
This place has the absolute, definite world's worst curbside service! Especially Eli! I don't know if he knows what the meaning of curbside service is, or the purpose of curbside service! Every time you get a to-go order here you will have to go in to get it! Poor service!Update: It's been a month since I've been here, no fried cheese wedges (wife's favorite) and figured it would give management time to make changes (fixes) but unfortunately no changes. I got there to get my curbside order placed 25 minutes ago on my way home from Manchester, nobody even comes to my truck (description given with order) so I go in. Several people standing with arms crossed, same staff as before, nobody at Togo checkout ? uhs and ahs coming from aggravated people waiting for food(same as before) finally girl comes out, has to ask how to checkout giftcard, came back with help, checked me out and told me food should be done in no more than 5 more minutes lol. Same ocharleys! 1 star cause I have to, to give review! Sorry folks, no improvement!
Decided to treat myself to a late lunch after running errands. Had not been to O'Charley's in awhile and the menu has changed but for the best. Lots of choices and the prices were reasonable. Had the catfish which was cooked to perfection. Will definitely return for another meal !!! Service was great too.
