This was my favorite go to for lunch and a desert of royal portions. There is nothing that I have missed more in my move. The grilled cheese is bar none the best ?. The nifty meals are more than enough to keep you satisfied. The double home-style cheeseburger is so FREAKING JUICY, but not greasy! Then there is my favorite thing of all, the brownie delight. The desert is not for the faint of heart or those desperately trying to stay skinny. It is for the people that believe in YOLO and like FOOD! All of the bases are 98% fat free, so you have that, but when it is topped with warm brownie chunks, chocolate, caramel, and whipped cream.... just take all of my money. Karin's is consistently amazing and your food is made fresh. The line is usually long, but the great service and high-quality food make it worth it. 10/10 highly recommend this place to everyone. I can't wait to come back home.
Fried burgers are delicious. They are fried to a crisp and flat, so if you want a lot of meat, don't go smaller than the triple. Classic diner crinkle fries are hot and crispy. If you are sensitive about salt and fat, stay away. If eating on a picnic table a few feet away from active train tracks is your idea of ambience (I loved it), this is the place for you.
This place isn’t what people put it out to be. I’ve ate here three different times and got different stuff each time. The food isn’t very well seasoned at all. It actually made me sick literally, vomiting everywhere. The food itself taste like they go to Walmart and get off brand frozen fries and hamburger Pattie’s. I can make a better tasting burger at home. Steak ‘n Shake is waaaay better than this place hands down! I can say I’ve never tried their ice cream but after getting sick, I will never eat at this place again. Don’t waste your money on this “local” place. Not worth it at all.
Had the INTIMIDATOR for the first time today. I was in the area first time and was looking for non-chain food and dropped by Karin's. Wow this place is great! Best burger bang for the buck! We ordered the lemon kustard and was really surprised at the suble creamy flavor. 5x Stars!Hey Karin, start accepting Crypto... or maybe Krypto :)
The legend did not disappoint! This was my first time and I loved the cheeseburger. The fries were good too. The peanut butter shake wasn’t amazing will try another kind next time.

Used to stop by here every night before baseball games at Todd Lane and Smyrna Rec Park. Kids have grown up but still a treat. Never disappointed
