Friendly service, good food! Shrimp/chicken garlic sauce being my fav!
Pros: Food was fresh tasting, good portion sizes, chicken in general Tso was tender and not over breaded or too sweat and the prices are good, perhaps even a little on the low side.Cons: fried rice was very lightly fried but heavily flavored with no sign of pork or anything else for that matter. Won tons are doughy and too thick also the egg rolls have a freezer section of the grocery store flavor more than Chinese restaurant flavor.
It was ?. they were cleaning when I got there and they are VERY VEERY THOROUGH with it. Food was great! Staff was pleasent and friendly. Will be back again.
By far the best Chinese takeout we’ve tried in Smyrna.
This is the best place for Chinese Takeout in Metro Nashville and the surrounding area, HANDS DOWN. Nowhere else have I gotten anywhere close to the value for my money than this restaurant, which I frequent weekly up in next door Smyrna. I'm finally writing a review on it.This time around, I ordered lunch and dinner. I ordered my favorite, the Bourbon Chicken Combination Platter, which comes with Chicken Fried Rice, an Egg Roll (I ordered a second egg roll for an extra $1.20) and a quart of their delicious Egg Drop Soup ($2.75). I also ordered a quart sized portion of their House Lo-Mein, which comes with Chicken, Shrimp and Pork. Well that ended up being what I ate first, because it was a massive dinner portion and it looked and smelled amazing!!! Once I put the duck and soy sauce on top, along with some Sriracha sauce, I was in heaven. It was the perfect combination of spicy and sweet, the proteins were tender and juicy, and everywhere I looked, no matter how much I ate, there was shrimp...and more shrimp...or more chicken...or more pork. The portions you get are ridiculously generous and for $8.95, it was worth more than I could even imagine. Five stars, and even higher if I could. The Egg Drop Soup was so delicious and flavorful, not to mention the perfect way to get over a head cold. The bag of crisps they give you to put in the soup serve as the perfect compliment to it and the hint of sour just meshes beautifully in your mouth. Again, five stars and more if I could.The Bourbon Chicken Combination Platter as usual was absolutely outstanding. Tender morsels of Bourbon blackened chicken with onions and bell peppers, the flavors just to die for, with the Chicken Fried Rice, and again, once I got the duck, soy and Sriracha sauce on there, I was in heaven...not to mention full. Fast food type place with ordering at the counter. Food was ok & plenty of it, but pretty tasteless. Was expecting a dine-in experience, but food was placed in to-go containers, in bags, even though we answered that we would be eating there. Some woman in the kitchen kept shouting instructions & it was just an odd & rather disappointing experience overall. We will definitely look for a different Chinese restaurant next time.
I ordered the lo mein instead of rice. When I first informed the cashier of the mistake, she immediately tells me I'm wrong. Very rude, will not have my business again.
The portions r humungous, but the chicken platter I got had alot if hard pieces in it if it wasn't for that they'd have got 5 stars. The lady took my order was very nice. The size I got was large an both containers were full all the way before I ate it of course.
