DO NOT GO TO FAMOUS DAVE’S! Save your time. We were here today with a party of 4, and after 1 hour of waiting, the staff had not even STARTED to prepare our food. Multiple parties received their food. We asked repeatedly, and our poor waitress had no clue what to do. No manager could be found. Our waitress kept disappearing. We finally walked out. Bad business, poor service, and 4 hungry people. Take your business elsewhere. I would give 0 stars if possible. Unacceptable

We arrived at 1900 on a Wednesday even though they closed at 2100; we were greeted with a less friendly hostess. We seemed to be an annoyance, either because we came in "late" or because we interrupted the conversation she was having with a male sitting in the pickup area.The guy who served us took a little longer to get a drink order, but after that, the service and timing were good. He was friendly and professional, and attentive.The food was good, except we did have two concerns. We were surprised the All-American Feast only had three slices of brisket. The coleslaw tasted sour and not what we remember from previous visits.
We recently met some friends for lunch at Famous Dave's BBQ. It had been several years since I had been to a Famous Dave's. We were seated rather quickly and our server was pleasant and courteous. We were given a bit of time to make our selections and then our server returned. I opted for a platter with Georgia Pulled Pork BBQ, Wilbur Beans and Fries. I was not disappointed. Heat wise, everything was good, not too hot, but obviously just cooked. The Wilbur beans, as usual, had a slight feistiness to them. The Pulled Pork was delicious and the fries were good too. There are plenty of sauces to choose from, from mild to very hot ("Devil's Spit"). Our server returned several times to make sure our food was good and to check if we needed any refills. We met on a Friday during the noon hour, and it was not too packed, but there were enough people that I would say the restaurant was about 1/2 full. I believe we had a very good lunch, and would definitely return.
The food was great as always. Unfortunately, as with most restaurants today they were very under staffed which made for longer wait times. Our server though was very kind and efficient. I love the sauces they offer but found out they have one they can't put on the table. So if you like HOT BBQ ask for some of there "Wilbers Revenge".
Food was a little dry this time ? Could be because it was near closing time so I'll think twice before going near closing time in the future But overall this is still one of my favorite places to get rib Tips ! Being from the North we eat more rib tips than regular cut Ribs and The Rib tips are Great so I still rate them a high 4.
They have no workers plenty of empty tables what a joke just shut down if you can't run a business the wait times to sit was over 30min... came back again this time on a Sunday not a long wait considering the amount of people and the service was fast they had plenty of workers and food as always was great good job picasso
Excellent food. Extremely fast service. Like most places, understaffed. There was a wait for seating even though there were many empty tables due to a lack of of servers. The wait was much shorter than others in the area that day.
