This place has the MOST unfriendly, rude staff for a Chick-fil-A. Corp doesn't care either. Every time I order anything, they forget something. Missing you, missing sauce, missing dressing, missing food. Not the first time. Has happened 5 times since they have reopened and another 8 times before remodel. On top of that, they will walk by you, look at you and not say a word when you go into store to get them to fix it. Once they finally talk to you, they never say sorry, thanks or anything. Be warned.
Giving 2 stars because the food wasn’t terrible. Though the lemonade was very sub par compared to before. It seems everything went downhill after the remodel. Especially the customer service. The girl that took our order made it very clear she hated her job. Then, the girl that was supposed to bring our food never did. We were waiting at table 7 and we had to go up front and overheard her tell the manager that she did go to table 7, but she didn’t… we were waiting the whole time. Food came out slower than normal as well. Managers also seemed like they just didn’t care. Overall, the staff seems way worse than before the remodel for some reason.
Very Disappointed!I ordered breakfast for my kids through the Chick Fil A app. I arrived to the restaurant and checked in through the app by 10:23 am. The guy on the ordering speaker confirmed my breakfast order. When I got to the window at 10:33 am. They told me they had cancelled my order because they were only serving lunch. They said I could order off the lunch menu, but that was all they could do. I usually dont mind their long lines, because the service and food quality has always been worth it. I wont be going back to the Smyrna TN location again.
This low review is solely based upon the experience at the drive-through since they reopened. Dining in is almost impossible because it’s very difficult to enter and exit the parking lot without getting in the drive-through line. They should’ve pushed the drive-through line all the way to the right side of the parking lot at your entry and that would allow people to circle around the parking lot. We went there last Saturday and were in line for 40 minutes to get two Chick-fil-A biscuits. We were given our order while still being stuck in line and by the time we got out of the line we had eaten our food already. We will not be back through the drive-through anytime soon.
We used to go to this branch before it got remodeled and it was exceptionally fast, courteous, friendly, and up to their standards. After reopening, we went there yesterday, Thursday, May 19, 2022, and we were excited that it was reopened after the remodeling, however, the experience was nothing to chick fil a standards, it was more of other type of fast food vibes that I will not mention here. We initially went through the drive through, but now that it has two lanes, the left lane blocks anyone that wants to eat inside and leave afterwards, so if there are cars in line on the left lane, you would need to wait until the line goes down just to get out of the parking lot. We noticed this and noticed that it was taken longer than usual to get through the drive thru so we decided to park and dine in. Immediately coming in, we noticed the lighting inside was extremely bright, the music was not your typical inspirational vibe, it was more of a elegant restaurant type of music. The staff was moving extremely slow paced with no sense of urgency to serve the public. The energy level and vibe was very low and extremely unexpected, given the way Chick Fil A has their standards. The greeting by the cashier was low and no sense of wanting to provide the up most customer service that they are known for. After we sat down, there were several parties waiting for their food for several minutes, we received ours in 15min, which is not bad, comparing to others, but before the remodeling, it would be in 5min tops. I understand there are several employees who are new, however, even if you’re new, it seems like the training is not effective and needs to be revamped as well. The food was great and up to their standards, but we were very disappointed with the service and the way the drive through has been remodeled to where it is not organized at all. I know we are living in a time where customer service standards have gone down to where it almost doesn’t exist anymore, but Chick Fil A always kept their quality on top. To walk into this establishment after their remodeling and see and feel the vibe of slowness and chill and laid back casual type of energy, was way off of what this franchise is all about. If this is the new way Chick Fil A is operating, then I guess they have decided to lower their standards.
I agree the parking lot is weird set up… but the food is amazing. Got a deluxe and was so juicy and good!!! They did not forget anything either even though the line was super long and they were slammed around dinner time. Even if they did forget something, these people are human, don’t write a bad review on that! The food is good that’s all that matters people geez…
There was nothing wrong with the food. It was the service. I was in line for a good 25 minutes at this point. There was 4 cars in front of me who were waiting for their food. My food came out before there’s. Mind you they remodeled and added an extra lane but still one use one. They have cones blocking the other lane. The employee moves the cone so I can leave since I already received my order. The car in front of me cuts me off and blocks me in. I asked the manager who was outside if they ask them to move since I was trying to leave. He said no there is two lanes for a reason. I said you could have opened the lanes up way before this incident instead of having people wait in line that already have their food. He literally just walked away and left me talking. He didn’t reply even one of his employees went to the car in front of me to ask them to move. He just walked away and didn’t want to help. IF YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE 2 LANES, OPEN UP BOTH LANES !!!! Terrible service from manager.
Nothing is wrong with Chick-fil-A food. It’s more of the people they have working there. A day or two ago I had an older short man whose name was Chuck Bean come into my work wearing his Chick-fil-A hoodie. His food was not quite ready yet and when his food was done he became aggressive and then refused to take what he ordered and proceeded to call me fat and other rude names. Just didn’t expect that from a Chick-fil-A member, very disappointed.
Kept clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Food always out at amazing times.
Love everything there, always friendly employees and orders always right and the food is always fresh in and great and the bestt cookies on the planet!!
