Third time we've ordered to go and all 3 times we waited more than 20 minutes past our pickup time and then when we do finally get our food it is cold.Called the manager to let them know and simply get a "oh we are sorry sir". No attempt to ask if we'd like to get some hot food to replace our cold food, no explanation until I pulled it out of them that they only have one person.People remember service more than anything and you guys are doing a poor job.
Excellent food and great service. Drinks were delicious and dessert was irresistible…. so yummy.
Had thought to take photo of our plate but it look so good we just dived right in it. It was very good!!! The grilled lemon pepper fish buried rice and broccoli and corn. The dessert I took home about to eat it now. My husband his first time going he enjoyed himself! We will be back.
Somewhat erratic experience. Sat for ten minutes before someone came around to take a drink order, plenty of empty tables, not a busy evening. Timing was off on food delivery, entrees arrived while we were only halfway through salads. The honey butter croissant was tasty and well made. The food was good and the portions considerable. Maybe they're just really short on wait staff.
This Cheddar's service is hit or miss 50% of the time. Today I order the 6 Oz steak with 2 sides. There is a 99 cent upcharge for a salad as the 2nd side. No problem. Meal came out without salad. I ask and told it'll be out. Never got drink refill and had to get my silverware. After meal is finished, I inform server that I never got my salad and would like my check. Manager came with check, full price. I tell her I never got my 2nd side, the salad, and would like to be comped for that. She came back with only the upcharge off the ticket. Try to explain I only got 1 side and the 99 cents is the upcharge for the salad. She didn't understand I only got 1 side and kept arguing the 99 c was the comp. And then took their sweet time returning my credit card.
First time did curbside pickup ever, pretty good. Meal was ready in 20 minutes, not 30. So be there early, so it will not cool down.
I want to love this place. I really do. It used to be great. We ate there several times in 2016 and 2017, and it was our favorite. Then a couple years ago, a few months before Covid hit, our family went to the Smyrna Cheddars, and my son found a penny in his macaroni and cheese. Yes, a penny! When we told the manager, she had a rude-dish attitude and acted like we had planted it there. I told her we didn't want a free meal, we just wanted clean food that did not have MONEY in it. Our son could have choked on it. They replaced his Mac and cheese and that was all they did. Cocky attitude from the manager. So we didn't go back for a couple years. We tried it again this week. (They no longer serve Mac and cheese, BTW.) When we were seated this time, there were 3-4 small ants crawling on our table. Bad sign. The waitress was really nice and friendly. The kids enjoyed their food, with the exception of one son who got the Alfredo pasta, and his garlic toast was literally wet/soggy. It should not even have been served that way. I ordered the buttermilk friend chicken sandwich and it was literally raw inside. I asked for another one, fully cooked, and they finally brought it out when everyone else had finished eating so I took it to go. Overall not a great experience. Too bad because this place used to be awesome! :(
The food at Cheddars has list it's appeal. The country fried Chicken was dried put and Salty, the broccoli casserole was not a casserole at all just broccoli spears and cheese. No rice or bread crumbs or whatever makes the casserole a casserole it wasnt there.
Excellent service, good food. Never disappointed.
I absolutely love this place. The employees are super friendly and very attentive to their guests. The place is always very clean, including the restrooms and bar area. The food is always fresh and hot. Also it tastes delicious. Their managers are the best. Service is very efficient and in a timely manner. Very family friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who asked.10/10
