Prior to COVID this was one of my favorite BBQ places. I had raved for a long time to family and friends about how good the ribs, sides and appetizers were. However, the dinner experience yesterday evening was not the same anymore. First of all we received very little help from the staff on what was expected to place our order. Basically we were told we could do a fast meal from the hot bar or order from the menu. So we went to sit down given that we were not interested in the food that appeared to have been sitting in the warmers most of the day on the hot bar with small amounts still available. I went back up to the counter and asked if we chose to order off the menu did we need to order at the counter or could we expect table service. The answer was “”order at the counter”. Then I asked were the side items were listed on the menu and was told we had to choose from what was available on the hot bar. We have always loved going to get the Ribs and especially the Fried Green tomatoes with the fantastic sauce as an appetizer. On this visit we ordered from Ribs from the menu at the counter, fixed our own tea from the beverage station, and the fried green tomatoes that had been sitting in the warmer for a while were soggy and came with no sauce. Although the ribs were good, we could have got the same style ribs at other local BBQ places. If I wanted to go to a order/pick up at the counter type atmosphere than I would have gone to some other favorites like Buddy’s BBQ, Dickey’s or Full Station for 1/2 the price we spent for our $70 Anniversary Meal with the same flavor if not better. I understand COVID has been a challenge for the businesses, but if you are going to change the ordering options up like this than I suggest you adjust your prices to compare with the other common BBQ places in the area.

Have seen this place for a few years... finally decided to stop.... should have kept driving.... felt rushed from the moment we entered.... told to order off the bar... only wanted a pulled pork sandwich.... no menu offered to us...food came on a metal tray with faux newspaper.... no plate... pork was bland and had a greasy/lardy texture. fries were brown but soggy..... lunch for two was 48.00 with only one drink.... not worth the price.

We stopped for Lunch at Tony Gore's. I was unfamiliar with this place but was in the mood or BBQ. My wife and I went in, and made our order. You order at the cash register, and you order either a meat and one or meat and two. My wife chose the ribs and mac & cheese, I chose pulled pork, beans and potato salad. You are given a pager, and then find a seat. We were paged in about 10 minutes, and picked up our items which were simply placed on trays lined with faux newspaper, but no plates! Our meals came with corn bread, but no butter, so I had to return for the butter. We opted to have their "Family Recipe" sauce, which was mild and sweet and it was good. My wife said her ribs were very tender. My pulled pork seemed a bit dry, but was still good. Over all not a bad meal, but nothing to distinguish them from any of the other places closer to Pigeon Forge, as this is way out on the parkway in Sevierville heading out towards I-40 (or coming in from I-40 if you are heading to Pigeon Forge). Again, nothing wrong with the food, just a bit out of the way.

Used to be my place to go for BBQ before COVID. During COVID the owner made some strange arrangements to menu and the side choices were not that good -some very salty. Desserts as the cakes are bland in spite of having a delicious appearance. Ribs are big but tend to be in the dry side. I find it overpriced compared to other places (Delauder's and Boss Hogs). Last time visited it was in 2021.

This is NO LONGER A TABLE SERVICE restaurant. When you walk in, you have to decide if you want to order from the menu or get the food already prepared in the case. We opted to order from the menu - I did because the food in the case looked a little dried out. 2 of us split a rack of ribs & the 3rd had a sandwich. The rack of ribs had the best presentation I have ever seen: it was immense & appeared perfectly cooked. The ribs were as they appeared: tender & tasty. The accompanying mac & cheese was warm & cheesy. The beans were a bit mushy for my taste. I tried the fries & they were quite good. I would definitely return to this restaurant despite the lack of table service.

I'm here right now. And I am taking a break to post a little experience share. That's how good I think this restaurant is.I came in near closing, hungry,a little bit of a drive from the interstate, so I was a little worried. I let the super friendly and hospitable staff choose the fixings and am not disappointed at all.Really enjoyed the pulled, but not hating the big noodle cheese Mac either.I would suggest any one looking for a road rest and near by to come on over and get some. I'll definitely be back again

Ordering is so confusing. Makes no sense other than to confuse customers and up charge them. 2 adults, one kid $81. Yes, you read that right. The woman who rang us up, was very rude. It honestly shocked me. My husband said we should have walked out.The food was ok at best. It came out luke warm. The chicken was mostly bone. The fries were ample, but limp. Mac and Cheese had a pile of grease at the bottom so much it looked like soup.So shocked at the price and food quality but you know what did it for us, the attitude of the cashier. Customer service goes a long way.

Paid $29.00 for four slices of brisket that didn't have any smoked flavor at all. Food slopped on a tray, corn and regular biscuit dry, no butter given. All food in the case looked old. On a side note collard greens weren't terrible. Will not go back.!!!

We were exploring the area and came across this restaurant. We love some good BBQ. Don't be deceived by the outside. It's very nice inside. The lady who took our order was a little preoccupied with her phone and did try to blame my husband for grabbing the wrong table number even though she handed it to him but the food was very good. The fall off the bone ribs were literally that. The flavor was amazing. The red skin potatoe salad was made perfectly. The sauces complimented the meat very well.

Can’t say enough about the food here. Desserts are awesome too! Great place to eat! Great atmosphere! Nice and personal workers!
