Our server was wonderful! My whole family enjoyed the food, especially the guacamole. I have a dairy allergy and they accommodated my dietary needs. Great place!
The service was great, the food was good but I felt that the spice was toned down.
We were trusting of all the good reviews of this place, but they must been for the previous owner or previous establishment. The flautas were not fresh. They tasted like they had been sitting on the warmer for hours. They definitely were not crispy like something fresh from the fryer. The free chips tasted fresher than the flautas. The frozen house margarita tasted okay but seemed like it didn’t have much tequila. The cheese dip was above average but the salsa had no flavor. My grilled steak on grilled corn tortillas didn’t taste grilled at all and the steak was dry. Definitely not freshly grilled. The service was pretty good but not enough for a return visit.
Went there about 2 o'clock on a Saturday. Wanted to try a different, Mexican food establishment. They seated us in the back of the restaurant, booths in the back, tables up front. Kind of dark, back there.I would have preferred to be up front, more light, at least I can watch the traffic. Food was okay, server was fine. Meat was kinda overcooked. Margaritas were pretty good. Bought a Pitcher. 22 dollars. My wife ordered a quesadilla, she got a taco.I ordered a burrito. I can tell, there's quality there, just didn't see much of it. We go for the margaritas , just happen to eat the food. Cancun's has better margaritas. Probably won't return.
Started by getting chips but no salsa. Had to ask to get it. Two of our four orders were wrong. All the chicken tacos/burritos/enchiladas had absolutely no spices or flavor. Spinach quesadilla tasted off. The beans were good and my wife liked the margarita.
A true gem. We love coming here when we're in town. The fajita taco salad is delicious and their guacamole is amazing. We've always been seated quickly and had excellent service.
The service was good, our server was Judith, very courteous, friendly. Ordered the fresh quacamole, very good. Other dishes were average. Restaurant was very clean which we noticed. The reason for the rating was we were charged extra for using our credit card. We have never noticed this on any restaurant ticket before. 9 out of 10 people use credit cards these days, very seldom do we carry a lot of cash and to charge extra for using a credit card we felt was wrong. Will not be back!
We stopped in on a Thursday night. We had amazing service and the food was fantastic! We love Mexican food and in our travels always look for a good Mexican restaurant. We are returning to Pigeon Forge in October and plan to return here. Dave had the combo dinner, it's a "pick four" from a list of items for $11.99. He got 2 tacos and a beef burrito with refried beans. I got the Pollo Mexicano. The chicken was amazing! Marinated in a lime juice and comes with beans, rice, and guacamole, lettuce, tomatoes with tortillas. So good! We will return!
We had take out on a Friday night. The food was ready in 10-15 minutes and was on par for any other Mexican place we usually go to. We are very simple and order tacos and cheese dip. The hamburger meat was not over seasoned, but the chicken was a little bland and dry. If you order a small cheese dip it is really a serving for one person. The food was average for American Mexican food so just couldn’t give it a 5/5.
Server was friendly and polite. I got the taquitos and they were nice and hot and really good. There wasn't a big crowd but the servers all seemed to be really attentive to all their tables.
