If you're a first timer, ask for the Sampler (pitured). A little bit of every meat, 2 sides, and 2 drinks. My family of 4 (2 kids) still had leftovers! Everything delicious but with their bbq sauces... amazing!

Bar B Q sandwich was Hot, moist and With the sides of fries and slaw it made for a great meal, we got order to go. Recommend preacher’s great food & service

Yes we ate there today, we got ribs they were awesome we have eaten there before but today our food exceptional good. Great place to eat.

First time at Preacher’s but definitely not our last! Food is great and so is Preacher! The pulled pork was so delicious and moist no sauce was needed! Thank you to Yankee in the South on YouTube for your review of this place! Your new friends from North Carolina!

This is some of the most legit bbq I've had in Tennessee. I can't begin to tell you how incredibly good it is, you just have to trust me and go, even if you're 20, 30 miles away from it. It's actually very close to Gatlinburg and Sevierville. Sam, the owner, is incredibly kind and says he's still learning, but if this is him still learning, I can't wait to see how this tastes when he's "learned." Just...top notch.

Update from February.... Still absolutely the BEST food Sevierville has to offer! We came up with the kids this time and they ALL said this was by far the best place we have eaten while here! Thanks for always being amazing and providing the best hospitality in the area! From the Mills Family! This by far is the BEST food around! Stay off grid and make sure to take a trip here and eat!!! We got the chance to meet the preacher and learn some stories of the area and get a picture with him. We will be back tomorrow without a doubt! Terrific food and hospitality!

For lunch today we decided to go to a small family owned restaurant off the beaten path called Preachers Smokehouse. Omg this BBQ was one of the best BBQ places I have ever been to. It's owned by a preacher who started cooking to feed the homeless but needed a kitchen to do it. Now the restaurant helps supports that mission by cooking delicious BBQ to its visitors. It had 4 tables on the inside part and I think 3 picnic tables outside. It's only open from Thursday to Saturday from 11 to 7. Out of all the restaurants we visited this week so far this was my favorite you seriously need to visit here when visiting the smoky mountains. Staff is super super friendly and will even sit and talk to you and they have free coffee available. Definitely come visit here and follow Lititz Dad for more adventures.

My husband and I own a cabin up in Gatlinburg. We found this quaint little Barbeque place, the people are so helpful! The food came out quick, hot and way more than I could eat ;) We had to try that skillet bun and y’all it’s amazing!!!! I think everyone should have at least one of your vacation meals there ;) We shall return!!

Can’t even express how happy we were to find this little place while visiting Pigeon Forge area for the day! Extremely good smoked BBQ— we loved the pulled beef and burnt ends. Owner came over to welcome us and even offered my daughter a new side when she didn’t like the Mac n cheese. We WILL be back!

Really good bbq, both pork & chicken are smoked & delicious. Their sauces are amazing. All the sides we had were delicious, baked beans, white chicken chili soup, potato salad all very good. If you don’t mind the simple setting than this is the BBQ place to go, even if you do mind the simple settings, go anyhow! Food and staff are well worth the trip!
