It's not a mistake when waiters and staff are all friendly. If you ever run into staff like this it a because management is careful who the hire. All restaurants are expected to have good food, Longhorn is exceptional. You hope for good service but when everyone says hello its exceptional. I alway ask for Marianna but if she's not there I know I'm in good hands.
Why choose a chain restaurant when you are in the heart of BBQ country? The superior cuts of meat, son. We are fans of Longhorn because the meat is always cooked to your exact liking, it is juicy and tender, and the gristle is minimal. My husband is particular about his steak, and this is his go to. If you are seeking a lighter calorie fare like I do, try the lobster and shrimp chowder with a side salad. The soup comes in at a mere 25O calories and it has nice sized pieces of lobster and shrimp along with corn and chives in a seasoned cream base. With a side salad you will be happily full. This property is very busy, but the staff is very attentive, checking back often to make sure your needs are met. I love the Western themed decor and how the restaurant has sections so you feel like you are in a private space. It makes for a calm, enjoyable experience.
We stayed at the hotel next door to LongHorn. Went there for a take out order. Took about 30minutes. Husband had drink while we waited on order. Food was good. I am not a LongHorn fan, but it was convenient and not have to drive on the crowded parkway.
EXCELLENT AS ALWAYS ! We got in with no wait at all! And had our food within minutes! All of it was hot, fresh and delicious!
Had an early supper this evening. IT was perfect. Wonderful service. Attentive server who did not miss a thing. Got seated rapidly. Easy parking. Easy in and back out on a super busy Saturday with loads of traffic. Food was utter perfection. One of our favorites.

I generally love Longhorn, but this day it was lacking. My daughter has ate there more than I have and she said it is generally great. But she normally ate of the evenings and we were their during lunch. The appetizers were great, the waitress was amazing but our steak... I ordered medium well and got well past well done, it was so dry... If it hadnt been for the Apps and waitress it would have been a 1 star. It was disappointing because my children took me out to celebrate my birthday and I wish I had picked the Smokey Mountain Brewery after such a bad meal. You spend a lot of money going to eat at the nicer restaurants and I hate that I chose somewhere that was a disappointment for my kids. It is rare we get to go out and enjoy a meal together. But as I said it is usually better. Maybe it was a new cook or maybe just an off day. I will return eventually and give them another chance just maybe not for lunch...
Ordered a well done Ribeye steak, loaded baked potato, tossed salad & bread. Yummy. Yummy for my tummy. No complaints! Hubby ordered Chicken Parmesan, rice pilaf, Caesar Salad & bread. So good. So gone. So fast!Our takeout cashier was superb! Excellent people skills. Cordial. Thanks!Our meal only too 20-25 minutes to prepare.
Good was very good but a little on the pricey side. Waiter forgot our salads and we had to ask for them after our food was brought out. We were gone of the last parties in the dunning room and the waiter bright out our check as soon as he sat down our forgotten salads. It was only 930p and the website said they were open until 10, this made us all 4 feel rushed. But the food was very good everything we ordered was hot fresh and delicious.
