We drove almost forty minutes to eat here from our hotel during our stay. Rumor has it the tenderloin is as good as an Indiana one.After we order we were informed they had none left for the day and it was only 5 pm on Monday. This was the start of our disappointment. We then adjusted our orders.Our son has special needs and sometimes gets overwhelmed and has major anxiety attacks and outbursts. Unfortunately this did indeed happen here.We have to remove him when it happens because it simply gets worse. We informed the host/server and she was super sweet and extremely understanding. As we almost reach our car an older lady I'm assuming the manager or owner comes chasing after us and tells us our food will be done in a few. We then explain to her as well what is happening. I guess she has no empathy for these situations and becomes extremely disgruntled and shows her true colors by being extremely rude.I understand overhead and expenses but our $30 dollar order wasn't going to break your day. Have compassion for the needy especially children. I'm glad we left because someone like that didn't deserve our business anyways. Now we will not return even if they get their tenderloin back in. Awful service. Go elsewhere

We just stopped and picked up a to-go order of Kabang Shrimp & a Strawberry Field Salad w/grilled chicken. It was AMAZING!! We were pleasantly surprised - I can honestly say that Aubreys Strawberry salad has nothing on Local Eatery's... and it has been my all time favorite! Not only was the food amazing, but the portion size was great as well. We highly recommend Local Eatery & Grill!
July 18 2022 We had the best time there. Everybody loved the food. The manager Doris spent a ton of time with us and indulged my questions and jokes with much grace. She is a fun person and made the evening for us. When one of the party asked for a special kind of drink she felt like having, she brought the bar-tender out to talk to them and came back a few minutes later with a drink everyone raved about. We called it an Tennessee Sarah after the bar-tenders name. If you go there ask for it because everyone at our table tasted it and agreed it was the best out of all the drinks we had tried. It’s not on the menu though so you have to ask for it! Everything we had was wonderful, service great, bathrooms immaculate. Great time.
This place was SO GREAT!! It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's so good. We order lots of stuff and really liked everything! This little place needs to go show Holston's Kitchen how it's done because I sent one of their appetizers back there it was so awful. Local Eatery was far superior. I had the Fried Chicken and Gravy, the chicken was fried so good and season excellent. My husband had the Chicken Parm & Buffalo wings and he loved them both. My mother in law had the Grilled chicken and Rice and she loved their rice which is rare for her. We also order the fried pickels and green beans and loved them. The only things I didn't like was the Mac & Cheese and The Mashed Potatoes. ( I don't like skins or red potatoes) but my husband and mother in law liked the Mac & Cheese. Their ranch is also good.Our server was great! Her name was Leslie, and we called her the One man show ( In a good way) she was doing all the tables and the bar all alone. She was great and kept our drinks filled. Be sure to ask for her!I'd also like to add that we aren't local and have tried multiple places the entire 4 days we have been here and this was The best place we have ate!! We will definitely be back next time we come from West Virginia !
Very nice place. Food tastes really good and portion sizes are huge. Definitely recommend to try this out.
We all ordered different meals and we all enjoyed our food. More than worth the cost. We all had large portions and it was an enjoyable experience.
Been wanting to try for awhile and definitely should not have waited this long. Service was very friendly and the Hoosier daddy sandwich is absolutely amazing and very filling. We will be back time and time again!
Great food, great atmosphere, good live music...my teenage, non-country loving, daughters even enjoyed it!
We have been to this restaurant MANY times before and have been pleased. Over the past few months we called ahead to make sure a certain item was being served. Each time we were told that they didn't have the "Hoosier Daddy" available. Tonight we called and found it back on the menu. We ordered this sandwich as well as three other dinners. The Hoosier Daddy was massive but it is ALL breading and little pork. It was also very greasy! The Grilled Chicken dinner was so dry it was inedible and we were missing the side of green beans. In all....two meals had to be thrown away due to over-cooking and grease.
