We ordered on line ahead. It was ready on time we had a 15 minute ride back to the cabin we look and we were missing part of our order. We call talk to them they said they would have to get the manager put us on hold for 30 minutes we hung up try calling back they never answered the phone after half an hour calling we gave up. We usually always check our order.we forgot to check the order. reminder always check your orders befor leaving restaurant.
Our waiter was great. I had stomach surgery a few years back and can't eat a lot. He let me order off the kids menu, even brought me crayons in case I wanted to color. Lol, food was great too. He gave my husband recommendations on what was and what wasn't worth it for the money. Husband thoroughly enjoyed the crab steamed bucket. Well go back!!
Stopped for a late dinner and the food was great. Fresh, hot and tasted great pleasantly surprised for a late night meal. Little pricey but what isn’t these days.
Food was awesome. Service was great. Loved the outdoor feeling even though we were sitting inside.

Went with family for a good dinner while on vacation. I’m not a seafood eater so I got a salad with blackened chicken. The croutons were so stale and hard you couldn’ t even bite them. My son got the blackened tilapia which was not cooked properly. Sent it back and it came back the same way. Hubby got shrimp sampler and the bacon wrapped shrimp smelled funky and the scampi didn’t taste like scampi. Very disappointing visit.
We've been here a few times, when they first opened the food was awesome, they changed management the food is terrible and over priced. Waitress was nice. We will not be going back after a few attempts to improve. They must be surviving on their name and people on vacation thinking nice place to dine and close to the mall.
In every tourist trap city that I go to, we ALWAYS stop at Joe's Crabshack. We have had mixed reviews, but we struggled at this one. We got right in at 2:30 in the afternoon, and we were in the post-lunch rush window. We got sat down and we waited for five minutes, and as we waited, a table of six came in. We sat and waited to the point where we were receiving our drinks while the table of six that followed us was receiving their dinner. The place was not busy and they didn't seem short-handed.. The waiter apologized, but we walked by us for 20 minutes before we were even greeted. No manager visited us, nothing. Really felt like they didn't give a crap. The food was great, as usual. Its too bad the service was so sub par.
very small amount of food........ large price. i don't mind paying for good food but it seems like the steam pots are getting very thin.
Our server was super nice, and very attentive. The food selection was large, and the drinks (adult beverages) were excellent. I had a great Bloody Mary! The appetizers were just okay. The steam pot had high and low notes. Overall I would definitely return, BUT I’d probably order something different. The crab legs and corn on the cob were great, but the rest of the items were bland. The sausage, shrimp, potatoes, and mussels were consistently under seasoned and over cooked. All in all not a horrible experience, and they worked hard to accommodate our group of 12.
