We had a delightful lunch our servers were kind and did a great job. However, I asked the server if the omelette was gluten free... She said she didn't know. I asked her to please check and if it was not gluten free, to please just order sunny side up eggs. So, I know better, normally I search myself online. I made my mistake in trusting that the server would actually ask. I am writing my post just to encourage better training for the staff on the impact of not giving accurate information. I am not feeling well now, when I have a busy week and lots of people counting on me. Had the server done as she said she would, I would have given 5 stars... But instead I am sick from what I ate.
We had a delicious breakfast before heading home & was finally able to use our gift card lol Apparently iHOPs are hard to find. I wish that I remember our server's name to give her credit. She kept my coffee cup full & delivered our food promptly. My wife was especially happy to get her some pancakes & bacon. Keep up the good work guys!
Our waitress was great! Unfortunately, the kitchen staff left some things to be desired. Both of our BLT's had mayo that we asked them to hold (I saw the order slip, and it has the notation), they forgot to change fries to onion rings on one order (also on the order slip), and when the onion rings were delivered late the breading was burnt and the inside was not cooked. Lastly, the sandwiches were skimpy.
We chose IHOP for breakfast after a bad breakfast experience at another restaurant. Nice staff. Food was very good and hot. A lot food for your money.
The server we had was extremely nice, but the food was what deserves the review. Literally everything was undercooked and mushy. The only thing that I ate that was fully cooked was the ham, but nothing else was worth touching. My wife ordered different items than me and her food was the same way. I would recommend finding somewhere else to eat..
I was so excited to try the waffle and chicken but it left a lot to be desired. The waffle was so cold it wouldn't even melt the butter and the chicken fingers were hard, dry and are definitely not the same quality IHOP used to have. Overall a disappointing visit.
Really good place to stop and get food manager Aaron is out of this world he is so nice and such a caring manager He takes really good care of his customers The ihop in pigeon forge is a whole different story the manager they are Monica is not a very nice person I will never go to that 1 again I will always come to this one
Out of all the IHops, I must say the first one on the parkway is the best! They are only open until 3pm due to staff shortage. But the staff they do have is amazing ? Food came out hot and had a lot of flavor. I would definitely go back. I had to seriously chuckle at the GM and her sense of Humor ?? on their outside sign it stated "HIRING PEOPLE WHO SHOW UP TO WORK" ? So understand that one!!!!
They were super busy but our waiter stayed on top of things as best as he could. Him and one other was running a whole section by themselves. Took a long time to get our food but they were very busy and short handed. Food was good
